“Off The Clock” is a stunning, one-of-a-kind property. It is the only brand new three bedroom, three bath home in the Crystal Beach neighborhood. This house was professionally decorated and furnished with no expense beings spared on selections for your comfort and pleasure. Better yet, it is a short stroll to our world famous white sandy beach and emerald, green water!

We have a designated beach “set-up” (two chairs and an umbrella) during the season (March through October). We are located steps from the beach with a beautiful private backyard retreat offering a *heated pool, outdoor shower, and a propane grill off the side entry of the yard. Perfect for cooking your fresh-caught gulf seafood! We have extra beach chairs and an umbrella to throw in our beach wagon so that your entire family can camp out for the day at the beach. We even included a heavy-duty cooler with beach wheels! The house is so close to the beach that you can come and go back and forth all day long. Once you’ve enjoyed enough of the beach, come back to the house, and indulge in the private heated 12 x 24 salt water swimming pool with generous deck space and multiple seating areas for socializing. The large grassy backyard is perfect for a game of catch or Frisbee!

Our house has several highly rated local restaurants in walking distance. We also have a variety of grocery stores located within a couple miles, including Whole Foods and Publix. Whichever food choice you make, we have a smartly appointed chef’s kitchen with every cooking utensil and serving dish that you will need. “Off The Clock” is brand new, just completed September 2021. This gorgeous three bedroom, three bath house has everything you need to have a memorable stay! We have tried to anticipate your every need. However, if we missed something or you need anything, the owners are local and live only a few miles away.

• Cleaning soaps and paper supplies: we provide one roll of toilet paper in every bathroom and one roll of paper towels, one kitchen garbage bag, and one trash liner in small trash cans in bathrooms and bedrooms. We provide one travel-size hand soap, shampoo, and body wash for each bathroom, and a couple dishwasher and laundry detergent pods, but these are not guaranteed.
• Towels and Toiletries: we have bath, hand, and face cloths. We offer some pool towels for your use, or you may bring your own. We ask that you provide your own beach towels. 3 hair dryers, Iron, ironing board, and Steamer
• Bed linens: We provide new, clean, and high-quality linens for you.

Regulations per city regulations, we can only park 5 vehicles at our location. Parking on the street or over the driveway is not permitted. There is a city noise ordinance beginning at 10:00 pm. Please turn all music down and keep voices at a respectable level after 10:00.

Fun beach house
We really enjoyed bringing the family to Destin. The house was a short walk to the beach, and the two chairs and umbrella reserved there made it easy to always have a spot. The backyard heated pool was a great place to relax before dinner. Good location a short drive to shopping and dining. The house was clean and everything in good shape, and property management was very easy to communicate with before check in and while on site. Highly recommended!

Not what we expected
Review of “Off the Clock”Not What I ExpectedAfter a stressful period that landed me in the hospital in late December, it was recommended I take some time off. I decided to book two weeks at “Off the Clock” through VRBO, bringing along my wife and son for what we hoped would be a relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations in several ways.First ImpressionsThe property was difficult to recognize upon arrival because it looked noticeably different from the photos on VRBO. For instance, the photos depicted a white privacy fence separating the property from the neighboring yard. In reality, no such fence exists, and the neighbors parked right up to the edge of the property, creating a less secluded feel.Smoke Alarms: The Biggest ChallengeOur first evening was far from peaceful. My wife made toast, and the overly sensitive fire alarm system was triggered, setting off multiple alarms and a loud, repetitive voice declaring, “Fire!” This required us to open all three doors to create enough airflow to stop the alarms—a routine we would repeat many times during our stay.The sensitivity of the alarms rendered the gas stove nearly unusable. Even with the downdraft system (as instructed by the owner), cooking anything, from frying fish to baking pizza, would set off the alarms. Rain made grilling outside impossible, and when the grill was eventually tested, it didn’t work-Many issues they say they are fixing we will see

True to the name
Off the Clock was an amazing property and experience for our family of five. The house felt like home. Very well laid out and the details really made that feeling possible. Extremely clean, very spacious, the decor was thoughtful and comfortable. The kitchen was especially nice. It’s not easy to feed 3 hungry kiddos for multiple meals, but the open kitchen and breakfast bar was the perfect platform for many meals and memories with our kids before they ran back to jump in the pool. We sat down for a few family meals at the beautiful kitchen table as well. The proximity and location on the beach was perfect. The short walk was easy and a fun little adventure for the us and the kids to explore and talk, while also allowing them to help pull the wagon and cooler that was provided (much appreciated!) ;) Truly an amazing stay for us, best property we’ve visited in our few years of starting to travel with our little fam. We’ll definitely return! Thank you to the Cohen’s for sharing your house with us.

“Off the Clock” extravagance!
The property was even nicer in person than it looked in the listing photos. The property was immaculate when we arrived and the location couldn’t be beat! There are so shops, restaurants and grocery stores within a short drive. Not to mention the beautiful sandy beach was less than a 10 minute walk away. The property manager, Louise, was incredibly easy to communicate with and very attentive to any and all needs. No detail was missed with this property and we can’t wait to come back! Everything about the stay was flawless. The instructions and communication prior to arrival were complete and clear. The property was beautiful, clean, kitchen was better equipped than most homes. We absolutely loved this house! The property manager was wonderful and responded quickly with any questions that we had. The house is beautiful and well-outfitted and it was the perfect size for the six of us. Can’t say enough about “Off the Clock”. Fantastic place to unwind and relax. My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay there over the 4th of July week. The home was ideal to entertain and host dinners for extended family who were also in from out of town. Pristine place and completely turn-key. There’s nothing the host hasn’t thought of to ensure an excellent experience for anyone who stays there. They truly care about their guests. The backyard and pool was beautiful, and 1 block easy access to a beautiful beach and crystal clear waters with chair and umbrella service built in was so convenient. There’s even food and drink service right on the beach from the local hotel. Truly was a home away from home, and we would reserve again in a heartbeat. Thank you again to our hosts for making our trip one to remember.

Perfect Destin House with Great Location
We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beachy and modern with tasteful decor. It is adorable. We greatly appreciated the relaxing covered porches, large televisions, fluffy towels, and the spacious master bath. The driftwood floors were gorgeous, clean, and easy to swiffer for sand. We really enjoyed night swims in the heated saltwater pool complete with string lights and firepit warmth. And, to top it all off, we loved the proximity to the beach and inlcuded beach wagon and chair/umbrella set-up. We will definitely return!

This was our second time in Destin and what a beautiful home to stay this year. We wanted a place with more room and close to the beach with a pool and "off the clock" did not disappoint. It felt like we were at a hotel with the linens and towels and those beds were beyond comfy! The kids loved the heated pool and I loved the back yard. We cooked out and went for night swims often, and the firepit made a great place to sit and warm up at night. The place had it all, location, amenities, superb hosts (thank you for the welcome basket by the way!) and great layout of all the rooms. We had a perfect week and wanted to thank you for such a lovely home for us to stay in.

Perfect, perfect, perfect!
The house was exactly as pictured in the listing but even better in person. Very clean, FULLY stocked kitchen and cute backyard. Location was great! Very short walk to the beach (so short that our kids didn't even complain :)) This was our first time back to Destin in four years and this house exceeded our expectations. The weather was cooler than we were hoping for, but the heated pool made up for it. Highly recommend this rental. Owners have done a great job with the house and all it has to offer. Fantastic Get Away
We had a great time at off the clock! The place was super clean. As a fellow real estate professional and host, I appreciated all the details of this home offers. The pool oasis is incredible, and the walk to the beach is a brisk one. We laughed when we opened the storage shed outside and saw this home already had everything we brought! (Chairs, wagon, games, etc). Inside the home is fully stocked as well. The hosts truly thought of everything. We spent the mornings at the beach which was just a short easy walk even with two kids under 2. The pool and backyard was great for the afternoons. We would highly recommend this property to other families.

Clean and high quality
Beautiful home with very nice towels, bedding and pillows. The most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever rented from through VRBO. It felt fresh and clean every time we walked in the door. The pool was fantastic and was quite refreshing all day and into the evening in spite of our heat index of 110+! The property managers were easy to reach and easy to work with. We rented a golf cart for the week which made our vacation complete.

Perfect Beach Vacation!
There really are not enough good words to describe our wonderful stay at this home. From the communication with the hosts to everything we needed AND a perfect location, this house checks EVERY box! There’s privacy when out by the pool, and plenty of comfortable shaded seating. Not to mention it was a salt water pool, which felt so amazing! All furniture and beds were super comfortable, neighborhood was quiet, safe and very pleasant. AC works really well. We walked to Camilles for breakfast/coffee in the mornings. It was also very easy to make multiple trips to and from the beach because it’s a shorter walk than it looks like in the pictures. The umbrella and chairs ready for us on the beach took off stress of having to find a spot to set up. The owner and host were super quick to respond and immediately available whenever we had questions. The host even took time while on her vacation to make sure we had everything we needed and answer a late night question upon our arrival. The owner very quickly helped us out when I forgot about something at the house after we had checked out. This is actually the first review I’ve ever left on VRBO and we have stayed in a LOT of VRBO rental homes. I hate for people to learn about this perfect gem we found because I don’t want it to be booked when we want to return-haha! I just want the host and owner to know that all the time and resources they put into making this a great experience is totally worth it!

We fell in love with Off The Clock! Great location. As a perfectionist myself lol I was super satisfied on how clean and perfect everything was! There was everything we needed plus more. We enjoyed the pool and the yard was great, we played volley ball and brought our projector for movie night! The kids had a blast!! The walk to the beach was just 2 minutes as said. Louise was amazing! The house made our first time to Destin that much more better! We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Perfect Off the Clock Christmas vacation
We had a great time staying at Off the Clock. It was perfect for our family of 7. We loved the location…a mostly quiet street & a short 2 minute walk to the beach access. This by far was the cleanest of any rental we’ve ever stayed in!! It’s cozy & beautifully decorated with high end touches…Calvin Klein towels, Speed Queen washer & dryer, Cuisinart kitchenware, smart tv’s…everything was top notch! The backyard was big enough for us to set up a net & play volleyball & badminton. I guess if I had 1 complaint, it would be that I wish there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms but that’s coming from a fam that likes the noise of a fan when sleeping at night; such a minor complaint. Our stay was perfect & we felt right at home. We would highly recommend to anyone!
