Kitchen: Full sized ridge, gas range, gas oven, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso, drip coffee maker, French press coffee maker. Fully stocked with all utensils, cookware, and dish ware.

Dining Room: Located next to the kitchen. Large pine table with chairs for 5 plus bench that can be added.

Living Room: Leather 3 seater couch with 2 adjacent chairs. Electric fireplace/heater. 50" Smart TV

Front Patio: Large space to overlook the large front yard & mountain views. Propane fire pit with comfortable seating and small propane grill. Gate at the top of the stairs to close off the patio area.

Front Yard: Large area that is fully fenced for kids and pets to safely play in. New apple and cherry trees planted.

Back Yard: Small run space connected to the side yard. Fence separating the property behind.


Pet Policy

Aery Pines is pet friendly for 2 pets maximum. We ask guests to pay a $50 pet cleaning fee at reservation. Any additional pets will be considered for an additional $25/pet. Dogs must be crate trained for when the owner is away from the property. Guests MUST notify us prior to their arrival if they are bringing a pet & the breed/size.

50% of the pet fee is donated to a local animal rescue: Beazy Farms Animal Sanctuary.

The Location

The home is located less than a quarter mile from downtown Wrightwood, 4 miles to Mountain High Resort, and a scenic 6 mile drive to the scenic Inspiration Point. The downtown area provides great eateries and entertainment including local shops, brewery, live music on select days, and a local farmer's market every Friday.

There is an abundance of gorgeous hiking trails perfect for either a quick stroll and a picnic, or more strenuous hikes to epic vistas overlooking the surrounding Angeles National Forest. For travelers looking to explore local Southern California the property is located only an hour and a half from well known beaches. Where else can you ski and surf in the same day?!

Entire home and front & side yard are for guest's private use.

We are always available to be reached by phone or messaging system for any concerns or questions you may have. I live remotely, however, my cohost (aka my mom) lives locally and can be at the property promptly, if needed.

Aery Pines is located in a small residential neighborhood with close by neighbors. Due to the terrain of the neighborhood, sound is easily carried. We ask that all guests please be respectful of our neighbors. Quiet time for the property is from 9 pm - 9 am. Parties or loud activity will not be tolerated and will be subject to $1000 noise violation plus additional fines issued by San Bernardino County and termination of your stay.

***Due to the mountainous terrain of the cabin, SoCal Edison occasionally has Maintenance Power Outages during periods of expected high wind or other periods of high high fire risk weather. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause***

Everything in the village is walk-able. Only one block from town to grab coffee, a bite to eat, or do some shopping to support the locals. A 5 minute drive to Mountain High Resort for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, disk golf, etc.

Our neighborhood is quiet, and mostly inhabited by locals. We welcome guests who want to experience Wrightwood like a local, including respecting quiet hours, parking and respect of wildlife and nature.

Please note:
> We have two portable air conditioning units (placed in the living room and upstairs master room) for the summer months. We recommend opening windows at night and closing them in the morning to retain cool air throughout the day.
> Our home is across the street from our small elementary school in town. If you are visiting during normal school days/hours you will hear kids playing & the school bell ringing. There is also a small skate park down the road where you may hear skateboarding.
> This is a quad level home with 4 different staircases. Stairs must be used to enter home and access bedrooms.
> Please check the weather prior to your stay so you can be properly prepared. We are in an area that can get hot in the summer, very cold in the winter and can experience high winds. We will not issue refunds for weather issues that are out of our control.
> When visiting a mountain town, it's important to be aware that you may encounter various types of insects and bugs due to the natural environment. No refunds will be issued, though we make every effort to manage pest control.

We have parking for 3 vehicles in front of the house. Please park inside the gated area ONLY.

BATHROOMS: Only flush #1, #2 and toilet paper; we are on a septic system.

TRASH & RECYCLING: roll outs by back door. Roll out to curb on Tuesday night please.

COMPOST: We have a compost container by the sink and a large one right next to the trash bin outside. Please put your coffee grounds/filters, paper towels, fruit and vegetable scraps, egg shells, bread, etc in the "+" side of the bin and spin! PLEASE, NO DAIRY OR MEAT PRODUCTS.

SNOW ETIQUETTE:
Chain control: 4x4 and All Wheel Drive vehicles must have mud and snow or snow tires and carry chains for access in snowy weather.

Parking and trespassing violations: Many locations on the mountain are private property and violators trespassing onto private property may be cited or arrested.

Trash: the public is reminded to take out what they bring in, including trash. Please if you pack it in, pack it out!

Weather hazards: Snow and rain increase hazardous driving conditions, so please exercise additional care when driving on slippery or iced over roadways.

Perfectly Designed Guest Home in Desirable Location!
Senior couple of 40+ years on a little romantic getaway. The home is extremely clean and bed/furnishings very comfortable. The home finishes, decor, linens, cookware, drink-ware were all stunning; no short cuts taken. Ideal location. We walked to the cute town several times. Also enjoyed breezy evenings under the stars, sitting fireside and morning sunrises. Kelsey is the perfect host; communication was seamless- she has thought of everything a guest may want/need for an enjoyable visit. Cannot wait to return!

Great Wrightwood Rental
This was one of the best vacation rentals we've stayed at anywhere. Great house, up-to-date, everything we needed, you can tell the owners take pride in the property. Excellent stay
Rented this property for my son and his friends for a college winter break snow boarding trip. I was in close contact with property manager, Arlene, prior to and throughout their stay. Our boys are very respectful and responsible and were aware of the expectations of no partying and quiet hours. They raved about how great the layout and amenities of the home. They loved how close the house was to local stores and restaurants, many within walking distance. I would love to personally be able to stay here in the future. Definitely recommend

Comfortable and clean
This was a perfect place to stay while visiting family in the area. We spent most of our time on the patio visiting. The location is right in town and a 2 minute walk to restaurants. The cabin is clean and perfectly set up for late night chats in the living room. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything you need. We didn’t cook any meals because our local family took care of that, but it’s ready for anyone that wants it needs to. Overall a wonderful place to stay in wrightwood. We hope to book it again!
