The Space:
Embark on a serene getaway at Country Escape by Tiny Away, nestled in the peaceful town of Wingham, just a short 27-minute drive from the relaxed coastal paradise of Old Bar. Known for its stellar surfing and kiteboarding spots, beach fishing, and ever-vibrant Old Bar Beach Festival. But the excitement doesn't end here – there's more to explore!

Discover the natural beauty of Crowdy Bay National Park, relax under the sun at Diamond Beach, enjoy stunning views from Crowdy Head, and be amazed by the majestic Ellenborough Falls. If you're traveling from Sydney to Wingham, you can take a 3-hour flight to Taree Regional Airport and then take a cab to reach your destination.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home surrounded by trees with stunning views of natural bush, near a dam with fish and bonfire facilities, and chargrill BBQ for you to enjoy. All with easy access to water, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet and removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

If you plan to spend your tiny house NSW getaways here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be a second tiny house called "Hillside Cottage" that sits on the same property. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements. As an added note, the tiny house is about 20 to 30 meters away from the main house.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except for the land host's private residence and the house yard.

Breakfast, Dinner and Grazing board is available at an extra cost, must be pre-arranged with the host 24 hrs before arrival.

Country Escape by Tiny Away sits in the small town of Wingham, just 27 minutes from the coastal paradise of Old Bar. What’s more, we are only 7 minutes away from all your local shops including Coles, popular cafes and the Australian Pub best known for their local steaks.

Our local recommendations:

- Giant Moreton Bay figs, a beautiful boardwalk, and thousands of endangered grey-head flying foxes at sunset.

- Garden Grub is a quaint cafe with nice outdoor seating providing a nice relaxing atmosphere and a friendly staff focused on customer service.

- Diamond Beach is a breathtaking coastal retreat favored for its excellent surfing conditions, opportunities for beachcombing, and leisurely strolls along the shore.
- Crowdy Head offers panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding coastline. This scenic headland is a popular spot for fishing, seasonal whale watching, and great coastal walks.
- The Ellenborough Falls is only a 30-minute drive away and the tallest single-drop waterfall in NSW. It is the tallest in the southern hemisphere, with nearby cafes, bush walks, scenic rivers, and more.

- Wingham Bush is a captivating rainforest reserve known for its lush subtropical ecosystem. Towering fig trees, abundant vegetation, and a variety of wildlife characterize this picturesque destination.
- Crowdy Bay National Park is a coastal paradise featuring unspoiled beaches, rugged cliffs, and expansive heathland vistas. With a variety of outdoor activities, such as swimming, surfing, fishing, hiking, and picnicking, amidst its natural splendor.

Festivals

- Scottish Festival June is where travelers can enjoy the sights and sounds of our Scottish community.

- The Wingham Rodeo Festival in January organized by the Wingham Show Society, features bull riding, barrel racing, and other rodeo events
- Wingham Music Festival in October, an annual three-day music festival held in Manning Valley on the NSW Mid Coast, one of the country’s most popular music festivals

Getting Around:
By car:

- 9 mins drive from Taree
- 3 hrs drive from Sydney
- 27 mins drive from Old Bar
- 2 hrs drive from New Castle
- 2 hrs drive from Nelson Bay
- 1 hr drive from Port Macquarie. All is reachable by 4WD.

If you're traveling from Sydney to Wingham, you can take a 3-hour flight to Taree Regional Airport and then take a cab to reach your destination.

By public transport: 5 minutes to the train station; there are taxi services and buses.

Other Things to Note:
NOTE: Pet cleaning fees applied for an additional $20 per pet per stay, Please inform the host that you will bring pet for your stay prior your arrival and the fee payment shall be CASH paid directly to your host

- Telstra has good signal. Optus, Vodafone, 2degrees & Spark have a weak signal.
- Chargrill BBQ and bonfire facilities available
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Smoking is allowed only outside of the Tiny House
- We have cows, sheep, chickens, rabbits, dogs, and pet snakes (in cages).
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to your arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Important note:

- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pit is not available during the fire season
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
