We have stayed here many times, along with other family members as well. The service had always been good and the rooms clean. Breakfast is OK but not great. Enough parking. This past visit, the room was uncomfortable at times because the AC unit could not deal with the outside temperature and humidity. We didn't address this with the hotel until after we left so that's on us.
I wrote to the manager, detailing the situation: AC was on almost constantly and the exhaust fan, while working, was not at all adequate. The mirrors were fully fogged over and remained that way for quite a while after the showers were done (and the fan stayed on!). His reply to that email said that the AC should have been on and the exhaust fan is in good working order. But I had already addressed all that in my original note. So, I wrote back and said that I was clear in my first note so his reply was not really helpful as I had already done what he said the solution was. His second reply was more of the same.
He did offer a 50% credit, in his first reply, on one night of a future stay, even though this past stay was two nights and previous ones (he may not have checked) were all two to four nights. He was prompt and polite but the answers were not helpful. His spin on this review will likely be different but the emails are very clear. He only answered with a solution that was the same as what I had already done and detailed in my original note.
