First room had mould on the walls ,then moved to another room. Bathroom so small if you're over 6 ft you cannot stand up in the shower. How much does it cost for a small LCD TV ,instead you get a 14 inch box tv

Depressing room
Pros:Location
Cons:The rooms.
Checked in, had afternoon tea then checked out again.The bedroom was very depressing so we decided to go home..Only paid £44 so cant expect much.We were there for our 40th wedding anniversary and didn't want to spend it in a depressing hotel room.Staff were friendly enough when checking in and out and afternoon tea was ok.

Good Location
I'll try to be as factual as I can, first impression was OK a good view of the lake, car park holds about 20 cars and the hotel is located about a 5 minute walk to the shops and pubs alough it's quite a steep climb back up to the hotel. We arrived at 1445 and had to wait with about 5 other families for our rooms to be ready, they said we could wait in the bar, but there was no one serving, no heating nothing to do !!!
We waited for about 45 miss but in the end we had to go back to reception to hurry them up. We had booked a double room which was plenty big enough and clean, although the TV was minute and the picture quality was poor. The breakfast was very good same every day buffet style, bacon sausage mushrooms hash browns fried eggs fried tomatoes and black pudding, there is a choice of cereals pastries and fresh fruit served from 7 until 1030. We didn't have dinner at the hotel or try the swimming pool so I can't comment. I think overall we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay there again.

appalling hotel.
Pros:it looked good on internet.
Cons:get some new staff who can speak English, and are not to tired to do their job.
Location:location was good ,Hotel not.
we booked ebookers.com,look at hotel photos ect,.it looked very nice, price ok they gave us a decent price. look from outside looked ok ,no pet s that s good, on arrival couple coming out with dog, basic room, left my husband to view he said ok for one night,, i should have looked myself.very small double,window half open ,couldn.t close now no why,very dated.. so my grandchildren were visiting, took them to pool ,not very warm had to go outside to pool, looked better on photo s. stair s into pool very loose almost ready to pull away into pool both step s.went down for evening meall took over 45 min after ordered, waitress not sure what was what , mine was a dried up chicken kiev ,could have done better , no sweet s they wanted, but the worse thing this awful smell in our room, it got worse had the night went on. i tried to tell the rececption girl on booking out she didn.t want to come to our room , nor did a mail member of staff, reply was the hotel is tired, she was tired and all the staff tired too. so i will write to manager of this hotel chain, also left comment on trip advirsor, so what can one do . look before you book. glenys thompson.

Hotel needs urgent refurbishment
Stayed for 1 night hotel hydro windermere. Car Park half closed luckily found last parking space don't know where other guest would have parked. Hotel from outside looks shabby all paintwork flaking away. Reception staff not interested didn't give us any informationbon facilites in the hotel. Walking to room corridors smelt. Carpet desperately needed replacing.
Room was small, carpet thread bare. Furniture dated coukd not sit on chair as it wouklld break if you sat on it. Mattress hard and needs replacing. Tv was the smallest tv i have ever seen. Bathroom noisy when toilet flushed. Every time upstairs moved the floor creaked.
Hotel has potential but full refurb required
