Lounge/kitchen
Enter a warm and inviting open plan lounge and kitchen with a cosy log burner as its centrepiece, comfortable three seater sofa and stylish armchairs for ultimate relaxation. Enjoy movie nights or sports games on the large 50” smart TV, perfect for entertaining or just unwinding after a long day. You are welcome to sign in to your preferred streaming platform during your stay.
Gather around the dining table with space for six, illuminated by accent lighting for an intimate dining experience. Two sets of French doors provide panoramic views of the lake and flood the space with natural light during the day.

Retreat to one of the two cosy and comfortable ground floor bedrooms, each with its own ensuite for ultimate privacy. Large windows provide breathtaking views across the landscape, letting in plenty of natural light. Sink into a restful night's sleep in the spacious double beds, complete with bedside tables for your convenience. Wooden storage offers ample space for your clothes and personal items, ensuring a clutter-free and peaceful atmosphere. These inviting bedrooms are the perfect place to recharge and rejuvenate after a day of exploring.
With floor to ceiling tiling, brushed steel fixings and automatic lighting, the ensuite is both stylish and modern. Comprising a walk in shower with rainfall head and separate hand held head, WC and basin. We provide towels and complimentary mini toiletries for use during your stay.

Located on the first floor and overlooking the lake, this room has two single beds and a bedside table for your convenience. Ample wooden storage keeps the room organised and uncluttered. Due to restricted headspace this room is not suitable for adults.

A popular addition with kids, the den offers children their own space to chill out and play away from the grown ups! Furnished with bean bags, this versatile space can be used as a playroom. This room is not suitable for adults due to restricted headspace.
Dedicated Workspace
There is a small desk area between bedroom three and the den, perfect for studying or catching up with homework during your stay. Complimentary WiFi is available as standard. Due to limited head space on the first floor this area is not suitable for use by adults.

Due to the rural location it is easiest to access Lakeside Lodge by car, via the A350. The nearest train station is Hamworthy (5.8 miles). Buses are available to Sturminster Marshall. Please check online for the most up to date information on services as these vary throughout the year. Bournemouth Airport is approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Lakeside Lodge.
