My husband and I rented the tiny house for two nights as we are considering putting one on a piece of land with solar to live part time off the grid. As the pictures show, these tiny homes are gorgeous. Top end finishes, beautifully decorated and utilizing the latest technology (Starlink WiFi, electronic door codes, split unit AC/heater, very nice propane stove, etc.).
Pros of the stay: Outstanding communication with the property manager before the visit, gorgeous unit, split unit AC worked like a dream in both the bedroom and living room, high end resort finishes.
Cons: In the “what to expect” letter once you book it states no hair dryer or curling iron (prepare to be natural for the trip), the drive out to the property is super dirty/dusty and you pass several properties that appear to be boon-dock homesteads with a fair amount of trash, when checking in we learned the units are duplex’s with another tenant on the other side which wasn’t what we expected, from our building you can see a tent in the bushes where it would appear someone is living on the property.
We would definitely recommend the property to anyone considering it, especially if you are traveling up to the Grand Canyon which is about 20 minutes away. Just plan on bringing all the food and drink you will want as driving in and out of the property more than once a day is a challenge and you do not want to have to find it at night.
