When you stay at Motel6 it usually means one of two things.
Youre either
On a tight budget
Too tired to drive any further.
The price already tells this is bare minimum, but a clean room, good ac/heat and a warm shower you should be able to expect.
And thats exactly what i got.
Yes the room was dated and worn.
Furniture no more then a bed chair and desk.
No fridge,No microwave,No coffeemaker.
But the bed was comfortable and freshly made.
The floor newly mopped and bathroom spotless.
The shower hot and waterpressure almost like a powerwasher.
Bed was comfortable and it was very quiet allowing for a good nights rest.
The nightclerk a kind man feeding the feral cats allowing them a refuge in the shrubbery, and the girl next morning letting a homless take some hot water.
Just to be kind to someone in need.
That goes a long way in my book
The parking lot had quite a bit of trash threwn around when i arrived late at night, but all cleaned up when i left next morining.
But hey. Motel6. Charge an extra 50cent/night and provide shampoo to your guests,or at least have it for sale in lobby.
Thats why i deduct one star.
If im ever in the area again needing somewhere to stay, ill happily stay here again.
