    Comfort Inn & Suites absolut ok für den Preis. Lage zwar nicht optimal, dafür aber ein Bus zum Zentrum 100 Meter entfernt ,Fahrzeit ca 15 Min., für Rentner 0,60 Cent. Frühstück inklusive !!!

    : I have spent time in hotels all over the world and come to expect what the surroundings give. I was not expecting this. Comfort Inn should be ashamed. However, that being said, every staff person was incredible and really committed to a great customer experience even though they had little to work with. We have been to DC many times.

    Noisy, and very inconveniently located hotel
    The major reason i booked this hotel was because it was promoted as being near Union Station. It's about a 30 minute walk through a very tough neighborhood to get there. You have to take the cab to get their. Hotel is on a very noisy thoroughfare and busy all night, not a great choice for light sleepers. A very rough neighborhood/ Very smoky smelling rooms even when you ask for a non smoking room.

    Because it was advertised as Comfort Inn at Union Station I believed that it was AT UNION STATION - it was not. It was not walking distance. Other than that, it's an older hotel and a bit weary around the edges, but overall it was an adequate value for the price. It met our needs. The free parking was a nice bonus and the fact that we were able to leave our car there all day even though we had checked out was nice.

    If you enjoy watching prostitutes strolling across the street, you might like this place. The views are horrible. A gas station and a seedy motel. Cross the street a little late at night and there is a good chance you will get mugged. And they call it NEAR UNION STATION, no it is NOT. Elevators were not clean and they can use an update. Definately not child friendly. The room was clean. It is a place you can crash at for a few hours, but do not expect anything beyond that. The area is NOT safe. For room service, they outsource the food. You can get a free cup coffee from a mchine at the lobby.

    Will never stay there again. Besides having a stinking room and bugs in the bathroom. I did not have air or heat while I was there. I notified the front desk of this fact the next morning. I returned late the next nite from work and still wasn't working. They offered to move me to another room; since it was after 10PM and me checking out the next day, I declined. This matter should have been either rectified during the day and they could have moved my stuff themselves if they couldn't repair. Also, take the dame Union Station out of the name! The property is over 4 miles from Union Station! This location SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Get used to the shuttle
    The hotel is neither a convenient walking distance from Union Station, nor a convenient walking distance from any other form of public transportation. While they do have a shuttle, the 15 passenger van is unable to keep up with demand in the morning. There is a good chance of having to wait an hour to get a ride to the metro station. The mysterious charge on checkout when their credit card reader 'broke' was also disturbing. Aside from that, it was very pleasant.

    This place was terrible in so many ways.We booked in advance 3 nights for our vacation.Desk clerk rude rude rude at check-in Our A/C was not working and when we told him he acted like we were petty and bothering him.Sent a guy up for 40 minutes,then we got moved to a different room.The next room,if you turned on the desk lamp the frig,micro,tv,and a/c went off.Only some outlets worked and you had to be gentle or the plugs would fall out..The train tracks were right next to the building,they of course ran all night and blew horns and vibrated the building.The 2 very small elevators were slow and creaked and groaned very loudly.You could hear these from your room.Breakfast was the usual cereal,toast,danish,juice.I am not being funny here,but the shuttle to take you to Union St...Was a van missing 1 seat in the back and the other 2 were not bolted down,you had to hang on to the seat in front of you.They put too many people in at a time,people on each others laps.And no lie they had a PAINT BUCKET upside down with a pillow on it for an extra seat.Sometimes it was in the back where the seat was gone,or up front between the drivers seat and front passenger seat.I thought they were joking when they told a lady she could have the bucket seat to get on that shuttle.So she sat on an upside down paint bucket with a pillow in between the driver and the front seat.A bunch of us waited over and hour past their designated time to pick us up to return to the hotel,2 nights in a row.After lots of calls and being told they were stuck in traffic,we all realized why they left us to wait and did not care.We saw them dropping off people who had just flown into the airport.They already had us,were picking up new guests.I would sleep in my car before I stayed at this place again.Trust a seasoned traveler DO NOT STAY HERE We just spent 14 days on the road,stayed at 6 places,any other bothersome things pale compared to the experience at the Uncomfortable Inn

    First time I ever stayed in Comfort Inn and Suites. Lot to recommend. Queen bed. Very ample continental breakfast with delicious belgian waffles. Free coffee in lobby. Free shuttle to Union Station which we used. Front desk personnel helpful with getting us directions. Free parking--a big plus in a big expensive city like DC. AC unit going on and off all night in room was a bit of a nuisance. Not the greatest neighborhood. Across the street from a homeless shelter of some sort or another. Bottom line--I would stay in a Comfort Inn and Suites again based on this experience. Had the amenities that I look for and use in a hotel and room.

    Hotel abbastanza soddisfaciente considerando il prezzo.     Booked two adjoining rooms for a family of 7. Rooms are okay for the price, however, one room has a minor defect. Closet door doesn't close and the smoke detector was hanging detached from the ceiling, without the wire holding it will fall down to your head. Very dangerous..called the maintenance and the problem fixed right away on the same day but the closet door has to be fixed the next day but we are checking out. The other room was okay. Overall, the hotel was good for a night stay and the breakfast and free internet was good too. Affordable hotel and can be recommended to anyone looking for a decent hotel stay.

    Great deal!
    This is an older building that has been remodeled in the past few years. It is in a neighborhood that not the best, but it seems to be in a transition period, so this may not always be the case. Our room was very nice and looked just like the pictures they have online. We had almost no problems with noise, only one night when we heard a child throwing a tantrum. Other than that the only noise we were able to hear came from the hallway - and even then it was not bad....no kids/teenagers running and yelling up and down the hallway or drunken groups....just people who were talking while walking to and from their rooms. The showers worked well as did the sink, and there was no mildew or peeling paint in the bathroom. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Union Station that runs in the mornings and afternoons, this was very handy for us since we were going to be using the Metro to get around the city. Their complimentary breakfast was standard, nothing special...it was good though. They have a smaller size parking lot, one side is open air parking and the other is a small parking garage. Overall this was a great deal and I would probably recommend this hotel to others.

    Nice place for the price- Clean and quiet- Make sure that you adhere to time restrictions for breakfast - They clean up precisely at the designated end time !!!!

    This hotel is NOT near Union Station. Do not be fooled by the hotel's offer to provide shuttle service because the hours that the van runs are not convenient and you have to book the shuttle days in advance. The neighborhood is not safe so don't get any ideas about walking to or from the train station either! Get ready to pay large amounts of money for taxis.

    The hotel is 1.5 miles away from Union Station. The hotel provides a shuttle to Union Station several times in the morining and evening. There is a return shuttle additonally. If you should miss the return shuttle and you do not want to walk to the hotel (which I do not recommend) cabs are ALWAYS available at Union Station. The cab ride cost between 5-6 dollars. The hotel staff was very freindly and welcoming and always did their best to help out there guest.
