Cute, modern farmhouse with a great vibe
We really enjoyed our stay in Vernal for Fall break, and this house was a great location to the different activities we had planned. Unfortunately, the first day was pouring rain so we couldn't do the hikes we were planning, but there was so much to do in the house that it didn't matter, and our kids loved it! There was plenty to do with the Nintendo, air hockey table, games, toys and books. And when the rain stopped, they loved playing on the playground and playing with the animals outside! The inside was very cute, modern farmhouse decor and felt very cozy. We loved the comfortable beds and luxurious master bath, as well as the massager. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was broken, so I'd recommend bringing paper goods to use. I also didn't notice a lot of dishes for the amount of beds there are, but the kitchen has a great supply of kitchen supplies to cook meals. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back sometime!

This is a great little vacation place. It feels way off the map even though you are only a few minutes from restaurants and everything. Awesome use of space makes it feel way bigger than it is. I would stay here again for sure.

A Unique, Clean, and Quiet Experience
My family loved our stay- the massage chair and air hockey was a big hit. The petting zoo is fun but be prepared for the friendliness and closeness of the animals that roam the yard and front door of the house. I left my car door open when I was unloading and ended up with a goat in my car! My kids loved interacting with and watching the 5 dogs, 5 goats and one cat! There was a cow behind a fence that didn’t mind when my kids played with the zipline that was also behind the fence. The zipline is for kids only. The house really does sleep 10 comfortably but there are not enough dishes for 10 (we had nine in our group). I don’t mind hand washing dishes at all (the dishwasher is broken) but we had to eat in shifts due to the limited bowls and flatware (enough for 4) There were enough cups and small salad plates but no dinner plates. Bring paper products if you have a large group. Plenty of other kitchen items for preparing food.We liked how beautiful the area was and enjoyed a couple hikes.

Clean, relaxing stay, fun animals
The drive to this property was through a beautiful canyon. The location was quiet and peaceful and my teenage and young adult son were enchanted by the funny antics of the baby goats and the friendly cats and dogs on the property. The house was immaculately clean, beds comfortable, and we found what we needed in the kitchen.When we needed help with figuring out the tv, the hosts were quick to respond. We definitely recommend this property.

Great property!
This was one of our favorite vacation rentals. We went to Dinosaur National Monument and the petroglyphs at McConkie Ranch (both so cool), but my little kids were always anxious to get back to the rental to play with the goats. The goats and dogs were very friendly and hung out on the back patio. If you want to sit around the fire pit I would recommend bringing your own camp chairs since the goats like to hang out on the patio furniture. They were seriously so funny and fun to watch. The yard has many huge trees and was cool and shady, even when it was 95 degrees in Vernal. We really enjoyed playing on the huge swings and the zip line. Inside, the beds were comfortable. The house was clean, but not deep cleaned. Shelves and baseboards were dusty, etc., but it wasn’t gross. After seeing how small the house was on the outside, I was surprised that it seemed so big on the inside. We had extra space and there were 7 of us. I would stay here again. My kids want to come back every time we go on vacation.

Perfect location for large family to visit Vernal
We were worried about this home being too far from Vernal, but it really is quite close, but so much cheaper than the other places we looked at while offering so many more amenities! We were HIGHLY impressed with how quick the host would respond to any queries. The downstairs bedrooms were very spacious. The upstairs bedroom had plenty of space for the kids to sleep plus a rec area. My older kids especially were glad for the puzzle, and the younger ones had a blast with the video games and everyone loved the baby goats... especially when it came time to clean out our fridge when we left to go home. Nothing wasted! ;) Would definitely stay here again if we came to town.

Quiet, Relaxing, hanging out with Cats and Goats!
We had a wonderful visit to Dinosaur National Park. The location of the property was perfect. Make sure to take a short hike to McConkie Ranch Petroglyphs they are amazing. Also the Remember the Maine park is also very close and worth the stop. The favorite part of the house was the baby goats and very friendly cat (all outside animals). The house stayed cool in the summer and had all the essentials for a fun family stay. We will be going back for sure!

A gem in the canyon
The house was perfect for my family and had everything we needed for meals and playtime. The kids loved the air hockey table and the zip line and especially all of the animals! We were lucky enough to be there when there were baby animals everywhere. If you have kiddos, this is a perfect spot to catch some relaxation time while they play. It’s close to Dinosaur National Monument and some very cool petroglyphs! Highly recommend and we will definitely stay there again if we are in the neighborhood. Thank you again!

Fantastic Getaway
The moment I saw the place, I was impressed! It was the perfect size for us. It was quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed! Let me tell you about the petting zoo! The baby goats were hilarious! The little black cow… adorable! The friendliest little cat that dropped a gift (dead mouse) at the front door.. so giving.. ewww. We will definitely be going back!

Dinosaur Getaway
We enjoyed our stay at The Willow House. It is a quaint property located within a half hour driving distance of Dinosaur National Monument. The Willow House is located on a lot behind the owners house. Very quiet location. We also enjoyed interacting with the small animals on the property including goats, mini horses and a mini cow. Friendly animals!

Wonderful Family Getaway
Wonderful place for a family getaway! It was beautiful and quiet and had plenty for everyone to do. Very close to petroglyphs and dinosaur museums. The kids loved all the little farm animals. I would recommend this place to anyone, but especially to families.

wow, wow, wow!
This home is AMAZING! STUNNING VIEW esp with snow. Katrine was just wonderful, accomidating and very kind. andwered all texts and msgs promptly. the willow house! just wow! i stayed w my brother but fir family with children you guys are going to luv it. there is a petting zoo! for reelz! they also had an origional NES system whith about 20games. if your my age it will bring back some memories! The place also had air hockey! the view, esp in the morning is just breathtakingly beautiful! sorry i hope im not rambling. lol. i will def stay here again. the sleep number beds were fantastic as was the massage chair. prob the #1 attraction maybe that 2 1/2 foot deep tub! realy was truely a wonderful stay. i just cannot recommend enough! thank you again Katrine!

We came to visit Dinosaur National Monument, but we had such a great time on this farm! My kids loved the big willow tree swing and that they were allowed to help milk the goats. The host and her family were very welcoming. Hard to say if we enjoyed our time on the farm or at the monument more!

Far exceeded our already high expectations
We came to Willow House on a glowing recommendation from a family member, so we knew it would be a great place to stay. We had an amazing time and are already planning a return visit. The location is tucked away so the privacy and isolation is wonderful. We enjoyed the large fire pit (with pre -chopped and stacked wood) each night. Our four kids loved the swing and the animals, especially the dogs that greeted us. The home itself was vey cozy. Many small details did not go unnoticed: the toys upstairs; top notch beds; everything was clean; night lights; I could go on. It was a very good trip to Vernal and much of that is due to Willow House.

Great place for a quiet family stay
Our family really enjoyed our stay in this cozy guest house. Our small children are now huge fans of the goats, and loved the tree swing in the yard. If you're going to be in the area, this is an excellent place to stay!

good place for family reunions
Nice country property good for family reunions. Shady, comfortable outdoor area with lots of things for kids to do. There were 10 of us, 5 adults and 5 kids, but two adults slept in our truck camper. Goat herd and dog pack (small dogs) were entertaining but could be a little too much at times. Nearby McKonkie Ranch petroglyphs area was a great place to explore.

Great house, relaxing stay!
We found the house very inviting and comfortable. The upstairs loft/bunk area is a kids dream come true! The beds were extra comfortable and it was obvious the hosts took extra time and effort to add some nice upgrades you don’t always find in a vacation home. The only thing I would recommend adding is a sign designating where the vacation home is located. The instructions given were fine, but we were a little leary driving on the property to find the home. Even though this house is a short drive out of town, it is definitely worth the extra miles!
