You have the whole property to yourself. Please note the bed is a full size mattress. There is a vacant RV on property that is for the property owners use only and is off limits to guests. It is not included in this rental. There will not be anyone in the rv while the property is rented to a guest. We have multiple properties within walking distance of each other. This neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are spread apart.
Be prepared and have your driving directions printed out or screen saved before your arrival because cell signal does not span the whole area and if you do not have your directions laid out you may find yourself in a black out area with some confusion. Message us if you have any questions before traveling, we are here to help plan your stay so you have an easy fun experience.
There is a drip coffee maker and french press available for use, as well as a charcoal grill and fire pit. We do not supply charcoal for the grill or fire wood. You will need to bring your own or purchase some locally.
This property runs on rain water that is caught from the annual rainfall and collected in cisterns. YOU MUST CONSERVE WATER DURING YOUR STAY.
Please plan to bring your own drinking water during your stay, or boil our rainwater.
This house is on a septic system, please do not flush toilet paper, instead place it in the trash bin provided.
PET RULES.
Pets are welcome but they must be included on your reservation at the time of booking. If you are booking for two people and one pet, please ensure that the pet is shown when you reach the confirm and pay screen. We ask that you and your pet adhere to the following rules.
Dogs are not allowed on the bedding or furniture. Pets are not to be left unattended in the room unless crated. You will be billed for any damages caused by pets in your reservation.
Noise travels easily in the desert, please keep outdoor sounds to a minimus after sunset in an effort to keep our neighborhood peaceful.
Small fires in the designated fire pit only! Do not leave a fire unattended. Do not have a fire during windy conditions. Plan to bring your own fire wood.
NO CONFETTI ALLOWED. There will be a $100 charge for us to clean up confetti.
This property is under a Dark Sky Ordinance, turn off outdoor lights when not in use.
No extra guests are allowed on property beyond the total number of guests that are booked on the reservation without prior permission. Anyone who will be on the property must be added to the guest count and included in the reservation.
We do have an option to add an extra guest fee for guests counts past 2, this covers water usage, trash, laundry, wear and tear as well as housekeeping.

Please be advised that use of any outdoor cooking equipment in or near any building structures (to include balconies, awnings, porches, etc.) is strictly prohibited as it presents a fire hazard. Any use of outdoor cooking equipment must take place on flat ground and a minimum of 20 ft away from any building structures on the property. Upon completion of cooking on any outdoor cooking equipment, guests must immediately and thoroughly extinguish the heat source. Guests must use caution while walking on the property, especially at night when it can be very dark. Guests need to be alert while outside to avoid tripping on rocks, or contacting local vegetation (cacti, etc.) and animals (snakes, etc.). Guests, their children, and pets are strictly prohibited from entering within 15 feet of the edge of any cliff, arroyo, crevasse, overhang or similar elevated drop off.Guests assume responsibility/risk for exploring the property.
Late checkouts without prior approval may be billed for an additional night if it interferes with our housekeepers ability to get started on time.
