Ländliches Cotswold Cottage auf dem Gelände des schönen Nell House

Das Cottage im Nell House ist ein wunderschöner Umbau mit Eichenrahmen, der 4 Personen in zwei Schlafzimmern beherbergt. Es liegt am Rande des kleinen und ruhigen Dorfes Hannington in den South Cotswolds, wo sich die Grafschaften Wiltshire, Gloucestershire und Oxfordshire treffen. Das Dorf hat eine "Kneipe" zu Fuß erreichbar und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Cotswolds in Ihrem Auto. Es ist eine 90-minütige Fahrt vom Flughafen Heathrow entfernt.

Das Cottage verfügt über einen Wohnbereich mit offener Küche im Erdgeschoss, eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspüler und Mikrowelle sowie einen Sitzbereich mit zwei Sofas und einem großen TV. Es gibt einen Zweibettzimmer im Erdgeschoss sowie eine Toilette und Dusche. Die gesamte Obergeschoss Etage ist ein en-suite Doppelzimmer mit separatem Sitzbereich, Sofa und TV. Die Treppe ist zum Erdgeschoss hin offen.

Das Cottage befindet sich auf dem angelegten Grundstück des Nell House und bietet einen großen Terrassenbereich, einen Gasgrill und Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien für 4 Personen. Es überblickt den See und ist umgeben von Wildtieren wie Moorhennen, Enten, Fischen und, wenn Sie Glück haben, Rehen und einem Eisvogel.

Auf dem weitläufigen Grundstück befinden sich eine Krocketwiese und Felder mit Nutztieren.

+ 1st, the hosts: Jo and James, they are nice, likeable and obliging at anytime. Jo, who we met most, had a lot hints for activities and worthwhile destinations. Thank you very much for lending your house to us for a wonderful time. + the house and the property: A nice little oak house on a wonderfully beautiful property. Everything needed for holiday is in place. We felt exceedingly well. + region around Additionally to Jo's very helpful hints we had a perfect home base to starting our day trips to different destinations into the cotswolds and beyond. + weather sunshine and rain are fine and are necessary. Around 90% rain this autumn didn't make holidays constantly a feast. So, Jo and James, please work on that ;), so that we can enjoy a bit more next time to everything mentioned above. Wonderful house and area

More than phantastic

It was a very peaceful and wonderful time in Nell house with very gentle hosts. They helped us with words and deeds. The cottage was so cosy and clean. The pictures in the Internet were so fine but the reality outranged the pictures. The scene was very idyllic, so it was hard to go away. And we love the horses and the ducks.

We enjoyed our stay very very much and it is a charming cottage in a wonderful surrounding for relaxing completely from work. Nell house cottage is a perfectly equipped cottage with really everything you need for spending a great holiday. If not exploring the places of interest such as Oxford, Stratford Upon Avon, Highclere Castle (well-known from "Downton Abbey") or Thames Path it had been a great pleasure reading a book in the garden while enjoying the "wild life" of the pond. The owner Jo, James and their kids are really very nice and we would like to thank you very much for your hospitality! Yes, we only can recommend this place and we would love to come back!

Fast noch schöner, als in den Bildern

Es ist äußerst ländlich gelegen. Wir haben viele Ausflüge in der näheren Umgebung wie Cirencester, Cotswolds und Bibury aber auch weiteren Umgebung wie Oxford, Gloucester, Bath und Salisbury gemacht. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, hatten aber auch Glück mit dem Wetter. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und wohnen auf dem gleichen Grundstück nebenan.

Relaxing country cottage

Nell cottage is set in rural England a short drive from Swindon and a stones throw from the stunning Cotswolds. The cottage is set in the most stunning grounds and overlooks a large pond which has bird life a plenty, The family who run it are lovely they are helpful and respect your privacy. Their communication with guests is superb. The cottage was clean and had all the facilities required to make yourself comfortable. Including, a fridge, microwave, oven, cutlery and crockery, towels and bedding. They also provide super fast wifi. We stayed a week before returning to Australia and the peaceful surroundings gave us chance to unwind before our long flight home. If you love peace and tranquility and enjoy watching Indian runner ducks and horses, and close proximity to the stunning Cotswolds this is the place for you. Lovely country cottage

Directions and arrival instructions were accurate and easy to follow. The cottage is well appointed and spacious. Access to the upstairs bathroom is a little restricted but not a significant problem. As mentioned in the owners description, transport is required as there is nothing in the immediate area. However this means it's a lovely quiet countryside environment. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and the lovely area.

Charming country cottage

Spacious 2 bedroom cottage offered by friendly hosts with Ducks,Horses and Sheep for neighbours. Ideal quiet , relaxing.rural location on edge of Cotswolds in easy reach of many places to visit, shop and eat. We had glorious weather all week and dined outsde every night on the decking beside the large pond.

A special place where you can connect with nature.

The owners live in the main house in close proximity and were welcoming, friendly, helpful and approachable without being intrusive. The grounds (in which we were free to roam) around the cottage are amazing and are home to three horses (and their stables), runner ducks and sheep in a peaceful setting. And there is a lovely big pond at the back of the cottage where breakfast can be enjoyed on a large patio deck. The cottage itself is well equipped and perfect for a couple or a couple with two children. Four adults may find it a little cosy. I am 6’5” in old money and found that head and shoulder room moving around upstairs could be a little awkward but a minor inconvenience considering everything on offer. We certainly enjoyed our week here with plenty to do and see in the area.

Amazing Cottage

Communication was fantastic before we even arrived. Jo and James are incredibly nice. Their daughters are delightful. They all made us feel at home from the start. The cottage is so lovely and much larger than I had anticipated. It was fully stocked with everything we could need for our two week stay. Lots of storage and closet space. The WiFi was super fast. We were able to work from the cottage with no issues. The property is so much more beautiful than I had anticipated (and I had high expectations). The pictures do not do it justice. I can not say enough good things about Nell Cottage and Jo and James. Thank you for making our two week quarantine easy.

A GREAT GET AWAY FROM IT ALL LOCATION

Spent a great week at this property, set in lovely grounds. Perfect for a family who want to get away from it all and enjoy a peaceful location, but still want to be near local attractions for days out. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing week away, including a fully stocked kitchen which made self-catering very easy. We loved seeing the wildlife, rabbits, herons, coots and horses in the grounds and around the large pond.
