We hope to welcome you to our serene and tranquil little slice of Paradise. Located in the quiet lakeside community of Swansea Point on the beautiful Mara Lake; it’s a true four-season gem.

Our beautiful and private corner lot offers quick access to the lake, and is a short drive to town for any of your shopping needs or to eat at any of the delicious restaurants in town, visit the summer markets, mini-golf or some famous D-Dutch ice cream!! It is also within half an hour drive from a handful of wineries, Salmon Arm with their waterslides and the drive-in theatre in Enderby! An absolute must do with the kids – it’s one of the last three in all of BC!

During the summer months you can enjoy the air-conditioned cabin, large deck with two-person recliner couch and patio table for those summer BBQ dinners. The large, completely fenced yard, is a private oasis with a grass area for the kids, kicking a ball around or getting your tan on and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows in the evening (as long as there is no fire ban – please check before you burn). The yard is treed in and you almost feel like there isn’t a person around. Within a quick 5-minute walk you can access the lake through multiple park entrances with sandy beaches and playground equipment. There is the Windsor Road Boat Launch at the end of road from the house which is public access with a dock to tie off at while you load your supplies and offload boaters.

The home has ample space for large families or two families travelling together. There is a well-stocked kitchen, lots of pantry space and all the appliances you could need. The ensuite bathroom off the master king bedroom has a standup shower and the second bathroom has a bath and shower combo. There is a large dining room with a gorgeous wood table for those big family dinners. You’ll enjoy the quite of the home and all of the natural light that shines in through the many big windows. TV, wifi, some board games, cards, dice and a radio are all here for the nights you just want to stay in and relax after a long day of sun and fun on the lake. Bedrooms are spacious with quality linen, comfortable beds and closets in all 3 rooms!

Our large yard has a long front driveway with enough room for at least 3 cars, and the back yard can handle trucks and boat or sled trailers without a problem! No shortage of parking space for all your toys!

In the winter this cabin is sled in and out accessible with trails just across the highway heading up Mara Mountain Hunter’s Range. After a long day of riding and being out in the snow sled back into the yard and hop straight into our new hot tub to relax those muscles and warm up!!! There is a propane fireplace in the home to give that extra cozy cabin feel on those snowy winter days and nights. If skiing or snowboarding is more your thing there is mountains in Vernon and Revelstoke only a 50 min drive away either direction.

Getting away from the city any time of the year has never been more relaxing or serene – we are sure you will fall in love with Swansea Point just like we did and want to return again and again!

We welcome furry friends – please be sure to clean up after them! This helps to keep the grass nice and the yard clean for all who visit. There is a $50 pet fee.

Family vacation

This was an ideal property and location.
We were delighted with the house and the location. It was the most well stocked kitchen we’ve ever stayed in. We had our choice of beaches, from super hot and sunny to beaches with trees and shade. We chose to drive to the beach each day as we had a baby in our group and a lot of beach gear. It was only 2 minutes down the quiet community road to the beaches. We loved the deck and sitting there each morning and evening. The air conditioning was appreciated!

Wonderful Home, Beautiful Area. Great for Family and Pets
Our family just got home yesterday from staying in Swansea Point, and while we're all glad to be home, we're also sad we had to leave. The home is great for a family, plenty of room, clean and everything needed to be comfortable while traveling away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked, something that is hit or miss at other home rentals. We loved that the home is single story unlike our home, no need to carry our toddler up or down stairs. We had our 21 month old, and we had to shuffle some things around to kind of baby proof the home, but otherwise it was great! The fully enclosed yard was awesome to let our doggies roam around freely. Also, the fenced deck was great for letting our daughter run around outside while being safely secure. The area is magnificent, the natural beauty is remarkable. We went hiking, explored several cities nearby, went to the lake, it was a terrific trip. Krista was a wonderful host, very communicative, but never bothered us unless we needed something. The only slight downside was that the internet was down while we visited, but she let us know ahead of time. The area has very good cell coverage so we used that and our phones as Hotspots. All in all, it was an incredible trip, we hope to go back to visit as our family grows! The McNichols family

Mara Lake Holiday Place
The house and location was perfect for our family to spend the week for our annual summer holiday. The host allowed us to have my family from Kamloops and Salmon Arm to do a BBQ for a family birthday at their lovely place. Lots of room to accommodate the guests. Nobody wanted to go home at the end of our stay. Great place, walking distance to Mara Lake beach, and a short drive to Sicamous and Salmon Arm. You have all the amenities close by and places to explore. The host of this beautiful place responded quickly to us if we needed anything. The Morrison’s from Calgary

Pleasant detached house with some outdoor space
Swansea Point is a small-ish holiday home development near Sicamous. A few regular inhabitants, but mostly holiday homes in reasonable distance or right on the local lake. No shops in this development, but Sicamous is close by with a good supermarket and all necessary shops. We have found the time between seasons (first half of May) a bit sluggish as all activities for the winter and summer are on hold, so check before going if things are available. The house is spacious enough for 4-6 people in our assessment, but up to eight can sleep there and the front room can accommodate more than 8 at a table even, so not bad for shared meals or family gatherings. Everything was clean and we found all we needed in the kitchen and living room. I guess for families a few more games (outdoor stuff, but also activities for outside) might come in handy, this was not an issue for us. There is a record-player in the house and it would have been great to try this out, but of course we were travellng with vinyl discs and did not find any in Sicamous. Would have been a nice trip down memory lane to listen to some of the big band greats. The beds were very comfortable and the house is far enough away from the highway to be quiet. Enjoying the hot tub in the evening was a bonus. Pity there is no recycling for waste, but you can go into Sicamous and take your bottles and cans and maybe more to a recycling point. Overall we are happy recommend this holiday home, especially for a family of 4-6

This is a very relaxing place. Nice privacy. And quite. We would definitely come back and stay again. It was hard to leave and continue on. Our dog enjoyed the freedom of exploring the yard and not having to be on a leash. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. The deck is large enough for all. The hot tub was very comfortable as well.

Beautiful long weekend escape!
This was our first time staying at Jess and Simon’s place and it didn’t disappoint. The place was perfect for our little family. Homey and easy to navigate, close to amenities of town but away from the hustle and bustle, the yard was large and well kept but enclosed so we were comfortable letting our little dudes (toddler and frenchie) roam… all in all, we had a great time and will certainly be back.

Revelstoke getaway
We picked this location for a number of reasons, the first being the number of beds available, it was spacious enough to cover our entire group and then some. The updated and cleanliness of the space was a welcome aspect for us, as our previous accomodations were mildly lacklustre, and this brought new excitement to our trip. The hot tub in the back was also a welcome addition for a pre bedtime relaxation. Communication with the owners was always quick and we were able to get any information we needed at a moments notice. The binder with instructions for the home as well as options for things to do in the surrounding area was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this home as an option for anyone looking for a quick and easy place to stay that is turnkey with a fully stocked kitchen. 5 stars.

Great spot!
We really enjoyed our stay at Swansea Point. The yard was beautiful, the house was roomy, well-equipped and as described. It was wonderful to be able to walk down to and along the beach. Great property, layout be clear on check out instructions
Overall it was a great stay in the property. Just be clear when checking out, we cleaned for a few hour before leaving and the cleaner said it was left "disorderly" and the laundry wasn't started. The check out instructions says strip the beds and "no need to start the laundry". Like I said property was great, spacious and close to the lake. It was only after checking out there was confusion...

The house is very nice, nicer even than the pictures present. The grassy backyard is beautiful, surrounded by lots of trees. The location at Swansea point is nice, with several lake access points. The water level was a bit high when we were there so only a few of those access points are usable right now.
