Whistler #1 is a fantastically and very recently (Fall 2021) remodeled, immaculate 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath town home in a great location, right in the heart of Steamboat's mountain area. It's only a mile from the ski area, steps to the free bus stop (10 minute ride) and makes an excellent Steamboat vacation rental.

Enter the unit into the open living area that features fabulous flooring and furniture, a stunning stone gas fireplace and lots of windows. Literally everything in the property is brand new, including the kitchen. Highlights include stainless steel appliances, spectacular stone counter tops and beautiful cabinetry stocked with everything you will need to cook meal. You will love cooking your meals in this kitchen.

Kick back on the comfy sectional (also a queen sleeper sofa) and watch a show, game or movie on the big screen TV or warm up by the gas fireplace.

Dining options a plenty with a large table and 4 chairs conveniently off of the kitchen, as well as bar stools at the kitchen island.

There is also a half bath on this level.

Both bedrooms and the full bathroom are upstairs, as well as the washer and dryer. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has a queen. The full bathroom has been magnificently remodeled and offers a walk in shower.

You are a short walk from the clubhouse where you can enjoy a soak or swim in the community hot tubs and pool (summer only).

Even closer and only steps away from the property is the free bus route stop. Buses loop every 20 minutes and you are only about 10 minutes from the base of the Gondola/Base Area, Restaurants & Pubs and the Transit Center, which connects you to shopping, downtown and more restaurants and pubs.

Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Great location and very cozy
Our family visited on the first cold weekend of the season and we found the townhouse to be very comfortable and cozy. We loved the gas fireplace which threw off a lot of heat. The location is fantastic. Town, the hot springs, and the ski area are all nearby. The townhouse was well stocked, comfortable, and looked just like the listing.

Fabulous Property
This property was impressively clean and well maintained. It is also charmingly updated with thoughtful amenities such as body wash and lotion, shampoo and conditioner, as well as a hair dryer with the diffuser attachment- which for me was a lifesaver since I forgot mine. Having the shuttle stop literally steps away saved us from having to park to ski. If the timing works out again, this would be our first choice property.

We were quite pleased with this property. It is remodeled very nicely with quality finishes. It was perfect size for my husband and I. Was visiting my daughter in Steamboat Springs. We loved the peaceful, lovely and well appointed townhome so much that we were there most of my visit. Very clean, well-stocked, and comfortable stay but sofa bed did not live up to expectations
This was one of the most well kept and clean rentals I have ever stayed at. The check-in process was very easy and the condo had everything we needed for our weekend stay. There were plenty of sheets and towels along with a very useable kitchen. The one issue we had was with the sofa bed. We booked this condo hoping to be able to have three beds but the sofa bed turned out to be very uncomfortable. It was not a real mattress and felt like a thin box spring. It was the major downfall of this place and caused skiing to be more difficult after barely having slept. This is something to keep in mind if you plan on using the bed aspect of the sofa.

Fantastic Renovation
Location was extremely close to the bike/walking trails and bus stop. The whole place was recently renovated, enjoyed all the new appliances, well stocked kitchen and fresh & clean feel of the whole unit. EVERYTHING was brand new. King bed was very comfortable, we didn't use the spare room. Bathrooms are small as mentioned in other posts, but not a problem. You can hear the neighbors through the walls from time to time, no issue for us as we live in a condo and are used to this, but if you're from a private home it may take some getting used to. We were there btn seasons so the pool and hot tub were not useable, the pool house seemed pretty run down. However, the gas fireplace in the unit was awesome which more than made up for not being able to soak. We would definitely stay here again.

We were impressed with the new remodel. Everything was bright, clean and nice. We used the free bus service and the bus stop was very close. The property was a little more compact than what we were expecting. It would be pretty cramped with 6 or if the adults were large. With that said. I would recommend to friends and family.

Weeklong stay
The condo was clean, super modern, and quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed for a making large meals at home. The free shuttle was about one block away and easy to access, although the shuttle sometimes ran slowly during busy seasons. The outdoor hot tub was great and about a 5 minute walk from our unit. Definitely recommend this unit for families or other groups of friends!
