Stayed for 1 night, quaint inn/pub and village, check in staff very sweet and accommodating. Booked a suite which was in the main inn building, not as lovely as in website photos and it didn't have a separate shower only a bath with shower attachment. Room, carpet and sofa looked tired but nice old style. It was right opposite a food station area so immediately out of the bedroom door was a surface area with dirty plates, glasses etc. Not great at all, shouldn't be opposite accommodation let alone a suite.
Changed room as needed a walk in shower and was upgraded to a 'high' suite in separate building just next door. Highbrow room was very clean and tidy, wooden floor only though and no slippers provided. Modern bathroom looked new but it had terrible coloured LED changing lights around the bathroom which were very tacky and couldn't be turned off. Bed was super king and very huge which was great but mattress was so hard partner and I woke with back ache. Pillows too flat also so overall not very comfortable. Take a pillow!
Good tea and coffee facilities, room had good temperature control, breakfast was great.
Would stay again and have lunch in the pub, just have to make sure we get a good room!
