FOLLOW THE SUN 'WAY UP HIGH' TO UNIT 801, A FABULOUS PENTHOUSE CONDO ON THE BEACH.THIS UNIT'S LARGE, PRIVATE DETACHED BALCONY IS A TROPICAL DREAM COME TRUE. JUST STEPS AWAY FROM YOUR SPACIOUS, 5 STAR CONDO, GET A GREAT VIEW OF CLEARWATER BEACH, FABULOUS SUNSETS, THE AMAZING INTERCOASTAL WATERWAY, AND THE POOL/BAR.

This brand new 2 bedroom, 2 bath 8th floor condo at Avalon (new in October of 2021) is a little piece of heaven on Clearwater Beach!

There is a heated rooftop pool, pool bar (beer and wine), and sundeck on the 5th floor which has a beautiful view of Clearwater beach. Pool bar currently opened from 4-9pm Monday through Thursday, and on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday it is opened from 1-9pm. The layout of the bedrooms is a split plan for privacy on your vacation adventure!

Please note: The Avalon front desk will collect a daily resort fee of $35+tax per night, there is also a $35+tax per night parking fee. These fees are charged by Avalon and are not included with your booking. The resort fee includes use of beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and boogie boards, and these can be obtained at Avalon's front desk.

The master bedroom is a large and lovely room with a King-Sized Bed, a TV, and has a small safe in the closet. The Master bath has a walk-in shower. The quest bedroom has a queen size bed, with a TV. The Guest bath has a shower/tub combination. The living room has a large-screened TV, and the kitchen has a breakfast bar that seats 3, and there is a balcony that overlooks Mandalay Street. The living room sofa has a pull-out sofa bed. There is a detached balcony with magnificent views of Clearwater beach. Enjoy an evening beverage while watching a beautiful sunset!

There is a gym on the 3rd floor that opens at 9AM daily. There are vending machines on the 5th floor. Step out of the Avalon and you are directly on one of the most beautiful beaches in the World! Clearwater Beach, which is known for its fine white sand and lovely waters of the Gulf of Mexico! Book this unit for a wonderful beach vacation!

If you would like to reserve a pack-n-play (with linens), it can be obtained at Avalon's front desk for $20 daily, plus tax.

The covered garage parking has ONE designated spot for a car. If you have additional vehicles, you will need to contact Avalon Guest Services in advance to check for availability and pricing. We can only provide the one designated parking spot per booking, and the parking fee is paid separately from your booking, directly to Avalon. The parking fee is $35+tax daily, and it is to be paid directly to Avalon.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU BOOK THIS UNIT, YET ARE HAVING ANOTHER PARTY MAKE PAYMENT, YOU WILL NEED TO ADD THE EMAIL ADDRESS OF THE PAYER ONTO THE BOOKING, AND THE PAYER WILL NEED TO E-SIGN OUR RENTAL AGREEMENT. ONLY THE PERSON WHO PAYS IS AUTHORIZED TO E-SIGN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.

Age minimum: One guest must be at least 25 years old. Under the ADA and Florida law, owners of public accommodations are not required to allow emotional support animals, only documented service animals. Rates on OPEN DATES are often subject to change. TRAVEL INSURANCE IS RECOMMENDED, AS THERE IS A STRICT NO REFUND POLICY!!! IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL, YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. THE NO REFUND POLICY INCLUDES NO REFUNDS DUE TO HEALTH CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WEATHER CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WATER CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND INCLUDING COLD WATER OR RED TIDE, OR TRANSPORTATION OR ROAD CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND INCLUDING FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS. A CHANGE IN YOUR BOOKING DATE MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE OR ALLOWED, HOWEVER, SHOULD A DATE CHANGE BE ALLOWED BY THE OWNER, BOOKING DATE CHANGES WILL BE SUBJUECT TO A $50 CHARGE FOR EACH DATE CHANGE. Should a booking date change be allowed, the difference in rates, if lower, will not be refunded, and if higher, will be charged. AGAIN, due to the no refund policy, travel insurance is highly recommended, especially if your stay will fall around Florida's Hurricane season, which falls annually around June 1 through Nov. 30. We cannot guarantee pools will be warm during cold weather months and will not give discounts or refunds should a guest experience cold pool water temperatures.

Please understand what can come with the potential aftermath of a Hurricane. There may be closures of the following, that could possibly last weeks, if not longer: restaurants/shops, roads, certain amenities offered, beaches, Wi-Fi/cable, pools, elevators, etc. Our owners will stand behind their no refund cancellation policy for any of these inconveniences and will not be making anyone the exception. Again, this is why we HIGHLY recommend purchasing good travel insurance. There should be a few policies offered towards the end of your booking process. One of which should allow you to cancel for any reason (CFAR). However, it is important for you, to do your proper research in confirming what exclusions, if any, exist for that particular policy. If none are offered to you, you can always contact another 3rd party travel insurance company. Date changes, rain checks, or compensation will also not be options under these circumstances! Hurricane season, again, falls between June 1st and November 30th.

Because we have a high amount of same day turn overs, we kindly ask that you PLEASE refrain from asking for an early check in. Check-in is at 4PM Eastern or any time thereafter. Should the unit be available for early check-in, it will be offered to you on the morning of your arrival for a $50 early check-in fee. Thank you for understanding!

Easy Cancelation
I was please that due to the Hurricane I was able to cancel our stay without issue. Sad we are unable to visit though. So I wasn't able to give a true rating for cleanliness, check in process or neighborhood but gave high ratings due to the ease of cancelation by the property manager. My heart and prayers goes out to all the people of Clearwater that were impacted by the hurricane.

Kicked out by Hurricane Milton
We had a booking fo a two day stay. The 1st day was awesome, got to enjoy the pool and the beach. At the end of the evening it started raining all thru the next day. Then news about Hurricane Milton got worse, said main target would again be Clearwater-St. Petersburg Beaches, so we could not stay for the 2nd night and left for mandatory ecacuation.

Clean unit, friendly staff, plenty to do.
Probably the cleanest vacation home we’ve stayed in, literally perfect! Easy walk to the very nice beach. Nice hanging out at the elevated pool and wide balcony/bar area. The beach view balcony for this unit is private but separate. You have to go across a hallway to access it, which is fine, I just think we didn’t use it as much because it wasn’t attached. Lots of super friendly staff eager to help. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Unit was nice but won’t be going back
We liked the unit but when I checked in, they dinged our credit card for $35/day for parking and $30/day resort charge plus $200 incidental charge. The incidental charge was reimbursed but we didn’t use the umbrellas, towels or chairs once but we’re still charged $30/day. Everything was self serve so if you use the equipment, you have to carry it down to the beach and set up yourself and the beach is not a short trek. It’s not much of a resort. To charge for parking is pretty weak as there’s no other place to park. The one thing that was extremely inconvenient for us was the fitness room didn’t open until 9:00am because they claimed it was too loud for the staff any earlier than that. We won’t be returning or recommending to others.

This property was perfect. The condo was very spacious and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The front desk staff was so helpful with everything we needed from checking in or needing extra towels. My only complaint was the water pressure. When trying to shower the pressure was non existent so much as just trying to get shampoo out of my hair was difficult.

The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. Condo was great. Chairs and umbrellas available to use. I would have liked if they would dropped the chairs and equipment off on the beach so I would not have had to carry them out and back. The pool is just ok but I don't go the beach to use a pool. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Loved the location - walking distance to all the restaurants, and the beach was a little bit less crowded than every where south of us. The condo was clean, the master bed was comfortable, and it was so nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. Staff were all very nice and helpful, and the process for getting new towels was simple and quick. And having chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels on site was super convenient!

The location was perfect, the accommodations were outstanding. The staff on property went above and beyond to assist, help in any way they could and they are friendliest people you meet in Florida. The only complaint I would have is in the unit we stayed in, only had three bar chairs for the Island to sit at. The two chairs and the couch in the living space is definitely for show and most definitely NOT for comfort or to just relax. Both balcony’s only had two chairs each as well.

Wonderful Condo!!
Came in with my husband and another couple. The condo is in a perfect location. Walking distance to everything you need. The condo was extremely clean and well stocked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downfalls, and in no way would I consider them a deal breaker on staying in this Penthouse again, but the second bedroom is extremely small. It does not have a window nor a closet. There is a huge walk in closet outside the bedroom. Even with that being said I would book to stay in this Penthouse again.
