15 minutes walk to the beach, great place to stay and staff were very helpful. Good breakfast, though i had to wait 10 minutes to be seated when it opened as there was a queue of people. But the breakfast made up for it.

The first room we were allocated required climbing 48 steps as there was no lift in this part of the hotel. At 85& 80 years old it proved too much and we requested a change of room, This was most acceptable as there was a lift to within 15steps.

Thank you for your comments. As a large site with a number of additions to the original manor house there are many changes in levels. If we are aware of restrictions in mobility we can arrange room allocations to suit. We are pleased to see we were able to accommodate you.

Lovely short break taken at The Norfolk Lodge Hotel. Walkable distance to the town but glad that we hired a car which was a good size in order to get around the island. Room was located well for my elderly mum for the restaurant and swimming pool so that was a bonus. Staff were friendly enough but seemed short staffed but our service was good and the food was plentiful and varied menu. Definitely would consider staying there again.

Good value 3 star hotel. Peofessional friendly staff, good breakfast and clean room. However there was quite a lot of noise from the main road in my friends' room, and an industrial fan or ectracter in my room.

Good location, but room to hot!

Cons: We'll come back if room can be cooler in the summer.
Nice hotel, friendly staff, however room was too hot with no fan. We stayed in family room, with good lay-out of room split between parents and the kids. Mattress too soft, so was not comfortable that my husband kept sliding.

QUIET HOTEL IN A NICE AREA

Pros: GOOD FOOD AND FRIENDLY STAFF
Cons: A LIFT FOR THE ELDERLY IF POSSIBLE, A JACUZZI ?
Location: FIFTEEN MINUTES TO TOWN CENTRE THROUGH THE PARADE AND PARK. LOVELY LITTLE BOLERO BISTRO NEARBY
ENJOYABLE STAY IN A COMFORTABLE HOTEL WITH FRIENDLY STAFF. WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN

No smiles from staff

Location: A bit out of town centre
Although the hotel was reasonably comfortable and clean I found the staff to be very gruff and usually had to repeat everything I said.
