Stunning position, disappointing equipment
We -family of 3 - were given a cottage with a stunning position and a beautiful terrace in the main hotel area. The second room had a window and a door, but they could not be opened. Upstairs the terrace door with the mosquito net were very difficult to open and close, but very necessary, because of the mosquitoes. The kitchen was well equipped but on the whole the appearance was a bit run down. The second swimming pool is a few minutes walk away and is just wonderful. I suppose that the hotel has better/newer rooms, as on the Internet they look much nicer than our in the pictures. The staff was correct, but not particularly nice. I would recommend the hotel for its position, but for the price it was a bit disappointing.

Hotel mit Traumaussicht
Das Hotel liegt über Soufriere mit einer Traumaussicht. Es stehen nebst dem Hotelpool auch der Pool des Besitzers zur Verfügung, dieser Pool ist fantastisch mit herrlichem Ausblick auf Piton, Meer und Soufriere. Das Zimmer im Haupthaus ist riesig. Es gibt nur Fan kein AC deshalb einwenig stickig. Frühstück und Service sehr gut.

Traumlage
Zimmer über mehrere Gebäude auf dem Gelände verteilt. Die Anlage bietet von den Zimmern, Pools und dem Restaurant traumhafte Blicke auf die Pitons und teilweise Soufriere. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit kleiner Küche, allerdings ohne TV, Telefon und Fön. Auf beiden Seiten des Zimmers gab es Holztüren mit offenen Lamellen zum Balkon, durch die es Abends stark zog. Außerdem eine tolle Einladung für Moskitos... Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Zum Frühstück unbedingt den Cocoa Tea probieren. Ein Busshuttle fährt täglich einmal kostenfrei in die Stadt und an den Anse Chastenet.

Check-in closes 4pm which is really early. We already knew this so were prepared, but there were not enough towels in our room as they never stored them for the pool. We had two rooms, and one of the rooms ac did not work well. There were a couple issues and no one there to address them. The staff did not really care what your issues were. The rooms were below average. The best thing about the property is the views. The views were unbeatable, especially at the infinity pool and during breakfast. The only reason to recommend this place is for it's views if you are ok with below average rooms. It's pricey considering the rooms you get but the views make it worth it.

Where do I start. Someone else's hair was in the shower,ants wete all over the counter and floor. Dead mushed mosquitoes on the lamp shades and side tables. The toiletries were half used and I'm currently hiding and will be sleeping in the bathroom for the night because I just saw a bat in my room and no one has responded back. I will be requesting a refund. The property itself though has a beautiful view of the Pitons.

Gorgeous properly and awesome staff. Beautiful views, first class hospitality and everyone is so accommodating and helpful. The only thing I would say is the wifi isn’t super reliable for working remotely if you have to do video conferences, but we made it work. The staff was willing to reset the router when I asked and helpful with so many other things. Truly an exceptional experience and our favorite stay of our trip.

I arrived at the property as a solo female traveller and there was no one there. There was no security on gate and the office was locked up. This was at approx 4.40 on a Saturday afternoon. There were a few people in a seperate bar area but they said hotel nothing to do with them and ignored me. Luckily taxi driver waited with me for approx 30 but in end took me to another hotel. I was devastated after over 18 hours travelling. More over life reported this to Expedia and they have still not refunded me even though I had to book another hotel through them for the night at over $300

Maybe we were just lucky but it felt like we had the place to ourselves, whether in one of the pools or at the restaurant. What little service we required was met with a smile and a quick response. The views are unbeatable, too. We’d definitely return.

Definitely a 2-star hotel
Ok, so we only stayed here because our flight got cancelled and almost everything else was already booked. It beat sleeping on the airport floor. That said, La Haut is not a “resort” by any stretch of the imagination. It needs some serious TLC and I would not stay there again. Nevertheless, the view was beautiful and the food at the restaurant was delicious. We made the best of it.

View of a lifetime!
This place has INCREDIBLE views. The pictures don't lie... that's really what it looks like. If you're looking for some fancy/modern accommodations, this isn't the place. We found the rooms to be charming and comfortable. Kind of feels like staying in a cabin. The sound of the wind at night makes you feel like you're in the middle of the ocean. The restaurant was decent, they actually had some alright vegetarian options on the menu. Nothing special though and a bit pricey. The pool by the owner's house is not super close to most of the rooms, but it is absolutely worth getting to... one of my photos from the pool is now the background of my phone screen and it makes me smile every time I see it... view of a lifetime.

From the second I arrived, which was late, a security guard greeted us. The room was gorgeous, the views breathtaking. Ms. Stacy the bartender amazing, Ms. Glenn, even the guard. I can't say better things about this place. My new get away. Thank you!!

Une beauté incroyable.
La vue est d'une beauté sans pareil et la piscine est tout simplement splendide, la partie basse de l'hotel est un véritable joyau. La literie est très bonne mais le confort général de la suite est assez sommaire. Quoi qu'il en soit, le lieu est eco responsable et d'une beauté a laquelle on cède tout. Merci pour ce séjour!

The property itself was nice, and had great views and good outdoor facilities. The location was a short car ride to restaurants and a few beaches. But our room was pretty shabby, oddly laid out, and not particularly clean. The refrigerator leaked, and outlets didn't work in the bathroom and the walls were very thin (we could hear every move anyone made above us). The restaurant was very medicore, but had a great view. The restaurant and housekeeping staff were very nice, but the woman in reception was not at all helpful. All in all a very mixed bag.

I had a lovely stay at La Haut. I stayed in room 7 and had an amazing view of The Pitons. The staff way very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant was delicious. I will definitely stay there again.
