Villa Scopetello is the perfect holiday home for large groups and families who wish to spend their holidays together.
The 800 square meter large Villa with 12 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, a billiard room, a bar and an office offers a lot of space to enjoy your time together and at the same time you will find always a quite spot to relax and enjoy your privacy.
The large kitchen upstairs complete with 2 gas-cooker, dishwasher, microwave, 2 large fridges, industrial oven etc..., is perfect to prepare meals for your group or if you rather would not think about cooking, take advantage of our cooking service.

The 5 hectare Garden is completely fenced and offers many places for the complete group but also the cosy spots under Olive trees, in hammocks or under a pergola to enjoy your quiet time of the day.
The Swimming pool is located in the upper part of the garden and you have views to Sinalunga and the lovely countryside. The pool is approx. 10x15 meters and up to 1.5 meter deep.It has been completely renovated in 2019. Its also completely fenced and can be locked in case you have very young children.
In the Pool House you will find many water toys, lilos, a fridge to keep the drinks cool, a music system, Shower and WC as well as tennis racquets, balls and other games to play on the tennis court which is behind the pool. The Tennis court offers next to Tennis, also football and basketball.

The children will play in the garden, use the slide and swing at our Play area as well as feeding our horses or petting the friendly dogs.

For Barbecues we have a large wood Barbecue and you can also use the open fireplaces in the kitchen. For eating outside, the back Patio is the best place as it is all day shaded thanks to the large Pergola and you can enjoy the views to Sinalunga which are especially beautiful in the evening. Don´t miss out our wine fountain, which is just waiting to refill your glass with our delicious house wine.

There are several walks around the property and you can even reach Sinalunga to enjoy a coffee or gelato at the Piazza.

We offer a wide range of extra bookable services such as cooking service, Wine tours, truffle hunts and many more if you wish so. We have also special deals for Company Retreats available and if you wish to celebrate your wedding at Villa Scopetello we have a very good caterer and wedding planer on hand or we can supply also everything you need in house.

Villa Scopetello is a self-catering Villa with the little bit of extra service if you wish so. We can help you to organize the complete stay or just single activities or services.

The Villa is in a perfect location emerged in the middle of the nature but not away from civilization. The private road leading up to the property is just about 1 km long and in perfect condition. So no worries, if you arrive in a nice sports car. You can enjoy your time together with friends and family undisturbed and enjoy the beautiful tuscan country side!

A perfect Tuscan setting
The villa exceeded expectations. Spectacular view and more than enough space for our group of 20. Made use of the kitchen, pool, laundry, and 8 bathrooms. Breakfast and dinner hit the spot. Pasta as good as any ristorante. Villa was a short drive to town and everyone loved Bar L’Angolo for gelato, caffeine, and travel tips. Outdoor market with vendors on Tuesdays was a fun local experience. Car needed. Central Tuscan location. Early morning greetings from horses in the front. Sonja was a wonderful host and available for any need.

Absolutely Perfect!
We were group of 16 adults and three children under the age of three. Sonja and Diego could not have been better hosts! They are truly lovely people! Everything was absolutely perfect! The villa is stunning and very child friendly! We opted to have Sonja cook breakfast and dinner for us each day, and her food was absolutely delicious! You must try their pizza and bbq! We enjoyed the tennis court, feeding the horses, and day trips to Siena, Florence, and Montepulciano. The villa location is fantastic! We hope to come back one day soon! Thanks again!

Amazing Place!
We had a large group of 4 families with 15 kids and this property was absolutely perfect! Plenty of space inside the house, the outside was incredible! Kids loved exploring and playing soccer/tennis/basketball. Sonja was super helpful and responsive to any needs and was great to work with! Would definitely stay her again and refer this place to anyone traveling to this area! Sonja lined up a wine tour for us with transportation that was perfect. Perfect Wedding Location
We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Villa Scopetello! Sonja was wonderful to work with and helped us plan our wedding from overseas. The wedding took place on the back patio, with the reception taking place in the upstairs dining room. Sonja made everything run smoothly and the food she prepared for the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception was incredible. Our guests are still talking about how good the food was, especially the panna cotta! The villa itself was so lovely and we had everything we needed. We would love to return someday! Huge thanks to Sonja and Diego for all they did to make our stay and celebration all we could've hoped for.

Amazing villa and location
I couldn’t recommend this villa enough, we were a large group of friends and it was perfect for our needs but would equally be perfect for a large family or people with children. The pool is lovely and new, the villa and grounds are amazing. Sonja was incredibly easy to communicate with before arriving and looked after us very well for the whole stay, would definitely recommend any of her various dinner options. There is a very well stocked fridge with pay on demand supplies.

Magnificent......
Villa Scopitello surpassed our expectations! What a magnificent stay! From the well manicured grounds, accommodations and Sonja and team members truly an unforgettable stay. The villa is divided into apartment style areas which are perfect for privacy. The villa staff lead by Sonja live on the premises but in a separate building where the delicious meals are prepared. I highly recommend that you enjoy meals prepared by them. We had breakfast daily before heading out to explore. We enjoyed two delicious meals prepared at the Villa. So much so that as I type, I am cooking the roasted chicken and potatoes which Sonja so graciously shared the recipe. Pizza night was a hit! Sonja also facilitated the Wine Tasting which was out of this world. We visited two vineyards and had a wonderful lunch. My only regret is that we did not spend more time just lounging around at the villa. We will be back! FYI: We were a group of 16 adults and 4 children. Plenty for the kids to do!!

Our perfect family vacation
Our extended family of 22 people spanning 3 generations had the time of their lives. The Villa was spacious and offered entertainment for everyone was well used.. A synthetic surface soccer pitch and tennis court was well used. The pool became a second home for everyone after tours of nearby attractions. Our hosts, Sonja and Michael offered great advice for dinners and places to visit. They became real friends-giving us enough space, but at the same time joining our activities and adding interest to the events. Sonja served up a beautiful dinner that became a rich setting for family memories. The quiet park-like setting with magnificent views over the Tuscan countryside became like a second home. We had to drag ourselves away to visit our pre-planned excursions to Fienza, the hot springs, Cortona and of course Sienna. Sonja and Michael were the perfect hosts and made our trip the best vacation ever.!!!

Wonderful Villa in a great location with excellent hosts.
We were a large group of extended family with several young children ranging in age from 10 months to 9 years and the property suited us perfectly. It had everything we needed including a great swimming pool and tennis court and the house itself was really spacious with great grounds. What really made the difference, though, were the hosts Sonja and Michael. They were so friendly and accommodating and made us feel like old friends from the outset! Sonja cooked us many wonderful meals and whereas we had intended to cook ourselves or to go out, chose to stay in and be catered for on most of the nights we were there. It would have been easy to not leave the villa at all for the week, but it is really well located to visit both Sienna and Florence on a day trip and close to many excellent vineyards where we sampled some of the best wine Italy has to offer (I am a convert to Montepiulciano Vino Nobile - some of the best red I have ever tasted!). A few of the rooms in the Villa could do with a spruce up, but aside from that, this is the perfect holiday accommodation for any large group in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Thanks Sonja and Michael and I expect you'll see us all again soon!

Best vacation location in Europe
This was the 4th year in a row we returned to Villa Scopetello, this year we where a group of 11 adults and 10 children from the age of 1 to 13 years. Four us a vacation at Villa Scopetello has everything. The villa is fantastic with plenty of space and even with a large group it never feels crowded. Well equipped kitchen(s) makes it easy to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinners. Then you have a great pool area and finally the tennis/soccer court, all in great condition. The hosts of Villa Scopetello, Sonja and Michael, are extremely service minded and can help to arrange everything from pizza nights to excursions in the area. All in all after having been guests at Villa Scopetello four years in a row we can only give this our highest recommendation.

Unforgettable Week in Tuscany
Villa Scopetello lives up to all of the 5-star reviews on VRBO. I reserved the villa for one week at the end of April to celebrate my 50th birthday, and 20 of my friends came to celebrate with me. Our hosts Sonja and Michael took very good care of us. They were attentive to all of our needs, and made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. On the evening of my 50th birthday, my friends paid for a multi-course dinner at the villa, and Sonja and her team prepared a delicious and unforgettable meal for all of us. The villa sits in a beautiful location with an incredible panoramic view of the rolling hills from the back patio. I highly recommend requesting the breakfast service every morning. Sonja and Michael serve an incredible breakfast (complete with made-to-order omelettes) on the outdoor (covered) patio. It is a great way to start the day with your friends and family at the villa. While staying at Villa Scopetello, we took several day trips to enjoy local wineries and visit some of the most beautiful town in Italy (i.e. Montepulciano, Siena and Pienza), but we also spent a few days just relaxing at the villa and these were some of my favorite moments - so peaceful and relaxing. If you are looking for a well-appointed villa with hosts who are passionate about taking care of your needs, then I highly recommend staying at Villa Scopetello.

Memories by the Minute
Words on paper don't express our stay and our wedding celebration at Villa Scopetello. Beyond being a beautifully well maintained home and property, Sonja and Michael made our stay incredible. First the villa, gorgeous and super clean. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were perfect. All three kitchens were very clean and well stocked. The grounds were manicured perfectly. Sonja and Michael have horses, chickens and ducks on property which made us feel very much in the Tuscan countryside. Inviting views and beautiful sunsets. As for our hosts, supremely accommodating. We planned our wedding with 21 guests via email and a only one phone call. Sonja is a master at details and Michael is a master with jumping in to help. They really want you to have the best experience possible. We organized breakfast and dinner nightly with endless wine, beer and prosecco for the week. Every single item that came out of the kitchen far surpassed the previous. Sonja is an incredible chef and a master at creating a menu that never repeated - very well balanced. There wasn't one thing that we asked for that wasn't delivered. We wanted a very special set up of our ceremony and our wedding dinner that was new to the villa and it was all delivered impeccably. Our memories were made at Villa Scopetello minute after minute - for us as well as for all of our 21 guests. The villa is perfectly located - not too far from Siena and not too far from wine tastings. I would repeat the entire week again and again - which I am sure I will due during my daydreaming moments. Run, don't walk to book this treasure. Your memories will last a lifetime.

The villa was beautiful and as others have mentioned even better in person than pictures convey.
We were a group of 15 which was perfect and allowed couples to have enough space and their own bathroom. We had gorgeous evenings that started outside with the red wine tap and ended by the fireplace. I recommend getting breakfast catered each day and the pizza and pasta dinners were both terrific. Sonja is a great cook. Sonja set up a great wine tour with the best lunch of our trip at Podere Il Casale. Michael provided great information on sinalunga, Pienza and Siena and helped us out with a ride to town and to the train station when we were stuck. Michael and Sonja make sure you have what you need and go out of their way to help guests. It was a magical trip.
