Summary:
Originally known as the Rogue Valley Goat Dairy in the 1960’s, the Bunkhouse was the old goat barn. It has been lovingly restored into a funky cool place to gather with family or friends! Thankfully it does NOT smell like goats! Enjoy the nostalgia of summer camp while sleeping in bunks, playing yard games and making memories with your family or friends! A perfect place for reunions, retreats, weddings and more! We also have a dining hall, wedding pavilion and other cabins for larger events.

The Space:
The Bunkhouse is located at Whisper Canyon Ranch in Selma, Oregon. We have 70 forested acres in a magical canyon behind a keypad entry gate for safety and privacy. We are tucked in the mountains of Southern Oregon, on your way to the Redwoods.

Plan activities in the area or spend your entire time enjoying the Bunkhouse, playing yard games and wandering the land. Most people say they wish they could stay longer or had spent more time exploring around!

The Bunkhouse is our most popular rental. This building has a hallway that runs down the middle of it. On the right side there is a large gathering space with table setting for up to 16, leather couches around the fireplace and a large covered patio overlooking the forest with a large table and plenty of bench seating. Down the hall are 8 bunk rooms separated by privacy curtains. 6 bunk rooms have twin beds, 2 have full beds, sleeping a total of 16-20 guests. There are comfortable mattresses but please provide your own bedding.
In the middle of the building is a full kitchen with a table that seats 4. There are dishes to feed 20 and it is fully stocked with equipment.

On the left side of the building are 4 private showers, 2 double sink vanity rooms and two private toilets. Towels are provided. There is laundry and a covered patio and table outside the back door.

There are two horseshoe pits out back and room for badminton or other activities. But be mindful of guests staying in the Cowgirl Cabin next door.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire Bunkhouse, two patios, the meadows all around the Bunkhouse including the horseshoe pits and also down the hill. Guests are welcome to wander around the land, but please stay on the pathways to avoid poison oak. All meadows are communal spaces for our guests and we encourage everyone to talk a walk around and experience this beautiful forest for yourself. Please don’t open any doors that you don’t have permission to open.
Guests are welcome to hang out on the patio of the cafe if it is not being used for an event. The cafe is also available to rent for private events for the weekend or for our guests for a few hours. There are couches, a TV, speakers, 1gb internet, a kitchen, disco ball and outdoor tables and a bbq. Please let us know if you would like to schedule a private meal or celebration.

Other Things to Note:
We also have a few other rentals that are listed on Airbnb including a few cabins, a wedding pavilion and a dining hall. If you are interested in hosting an event here or are looking for another dwelling to rent, please send me a message to see if I can accomodate you! Also, please note that this rental does NOT a come with bedding due to the sheer amount of time and volume it takes to change 16 beds. Please provide your own or let me know and I can rent bedding to your group.

Interaction with Guests:
My husband and I live on site so you may see us wandering around. We are happy to chat or give you your space.
