Good location for discovering Suffolk
The cottage is in a rural location, well situated for visits to the coast and places such as Snape Maltings and Woodbridge. There are lots of footpaths for dog walks around the property. The conversion had been made thoughtfully with the bedrooms leading off a corridor separating them from the open plan living area. There is plenty of comfortable seating; all the furnishings were attractive and contemporary. The beds were comfortable and all the linens were good quality. Dogs are restricted to the living space. There is a small fenced garden with picnic benches, whichcatchlate afternoon sun, good orange evening aperitif. The cottage is heated by an air source pump which kept us cosy, but means there was nowhere to dry towels or clothes. The cottage is well equipped except for drying; the cottage really needs a tumble dryer and heated towel rails. Accessibility: The bath and shower were slippery, although there were anti slip mats they needed to be bigger and more effective. We felt that grab handles were necessary to improve safety in the bathrooms. The main entrance is up 2 steps and through the utility room. There are other entrances but they are over gravel or through narrow picket gates.
