The Space:
Beautiful Canyon Rim Apartment is located in a very safe neighborhood in the East Millcreek area, in south of Salt Lake. it is a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment. The apartment is part of a triplex which has two other private and separate apartments within.

The bedroom has a queen size four post bed, there is a full bathroom, a nice size kitchen, along with a comfy living room, which includes a desk and chair in case you need to work remotely while staying, good internet is provided.

There is a Smart Television in the unit that can be used to stream any company you may have an account with, eg, Roku, Netflix, Disney, Hulu, etc., there is also an antenna installed so you can watch local channels too.

The private entrance to the property is up about six steps, but the inside of the apartment is all on one level.

We welcome a maximum of two dogs (up to 60lbs each) to stay at the apartment, there is a pet fee which is calculated on a case by case basis, so please message us and tell us more about your dog or dogs. The pet fee request will be sent to you the day of your arrival.
Sorry no cats are allowed. There is a fine for bring a pet that is not approved, and possibly an extra cleaning fee if needed.

There is a large shared fully fenced in backyard for your use, and the property is nestled off the road by about 70 feet.

One free designated parking space is available on the driveway.

The Neighborhood:
The Canyon Rim neighborhood in East Millcreek is very safe and close to everything you'd need. Including, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, movie theaters, parks, skiing and canyons.

The neighborhood is mostly single family homes with some small multi-family properties sprinkled in between.

This area has the lowest amount of crime in the entire Salt Lake Valley.

The apartment is within 10 miles of 3 different malls and several hospitals.

Millcreek Canyon, Parley's Canyon, and Emigration Canyon are only 5 miles away, and we are within 30 minutes of all the major ski resorts including Park City.

Located 9 miles from downtown Salt Lake City, and only 13 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport.

Getting Around:
We are approximately 0.5 miles from the nearest bus stop which is on 3300 S,

Most guests that come stay use Uber/Lyft or travel in on their own vehicle.

Location was great, not too far from downtown or many places actually. Communication was quick a few issues came up but were quick to resolve them. Only downfall no washer in this unit, and no blinds for the main window in the front of the house just curtains.

Perfect location for our activities
We were visiting family in the area and this unit was about a mile from them. It suited us very well to be near them. Basically we used the place for sleep, coffee and showers and did most everything else away from the unit. The unit is cutely furnished and lots of nice touches. The listing said there was a Spa tub (under the Pool/Spa details section). I did not see one on the property. As others have mentioned, the parking is not straightforward. On more than one occasion, there were already 3 cars in the drive and we could not have parked without blocking someone in. Our biggest complaint was the bed. It was way too soft for our liking. It is a 6 inch mattress topper on top of a very old mattress and box springs. If you like a firm bed, this is not for you.

This is the cutest little apartment. Very comfortable and had everything I needed for a little get away for myself. The owner was communicative and available for anything I needed. It's close to the highway, canyons and just about anything you'd need is close by. The neighborhood is quiet and felt super safe. It's a sweet little oasis!

Everything worked out fine. The property was conveniently located and the space was clean and adequate. Bathroom was spacious. Minimal provisions in kitchen but we made due. The temperature was impossible to control but at least the A/C worked well on hot days. Cleanliness of this stay was a serious health concern
While the location of this vrbo was ideal upon arrival I found rotten food on the kitchen floor, dog hair all over the couch, human hair of all varieties in the dresser drawer and on the bathroom floor. I contacted vrbo and they asked that I attempt to resolve this with the host. I was told they had seen pictures and they were satisfied with the cleanliness. Upon sending them my own pictures and asking for a refund of the cleaning fee, since I had to spend my evening after traveling all day cleaning, I was told they would give me a small partition of my fee back if I agreed not to leave a review.

Ideal location, less than ideal driveway
I don’t have a lot to complain about, this was a great place, very peaceful, very nice place. The unit still had some dirt on the linoleum, but not so much that it was sticking to my feet. My only real complaint is the driveway, which was a little confusing to find, but once that was found out, everything was fine after.

Very nice accommodations. Clean, well supplied, great location off/on highway and shopping. Communications with Georgina (property manager) was very responsive. No deduction in ratings but FYI : 1) No dishwasher. 2) Bed has memory foam topper = I loved it but not my wife. 3) Parking is confusing with 5 full time cars in a U shape driveway + your own. Trying not to block the 2x gates and other cars.

Perfect Location and Space for Two
Great location and space for two for the snowboarding season. Responsive owner to my many questions. Quiet neighborhood and had everything we needed. Parking for one vehicle was perfect and no issues with traffic. We were 30-40 with traffic to Park City ski resort and within 15 mins from the airport. The 1 bedroom basement was just big enough for two; three may be okay if not going snowboarding. Our equipment took up much of the living space with just enough space for us to enjoy the area. Full kitchen with utensils and dishes, and walk in shower was convenient. There is no thermostat control, however, Dave provided a heater that worked well with us. Overall, a perfect stay, quiet, convenient, and practical for what we needed. Will definitely stay again when in the area.
