Our dog-friendly, self-catering annex is a comfy and convenient base to explore 1066 Country and High Weald AONB. We are situated off A21, about 1.5 hours drive (1 hour by train) from London. The medieval village of Robertsbridge, train station and high street is 10-15 minutes walk away. Browns Farm Shop next door offers local produce and food essentials.
The space
The annex has two bedrooms: master with double bed, another with two single beds. There is a kitchen with an under counter fridge (no freezer), washing machine, cooking stove and oven, also dining area, living room and bathroom with shower. Apart from toiletries and washing up detergent, bed linen and towels, as well as kitchen basics such as oil, pepper and salt, a starter supply of necessities, from toilet rolls to laundry detergent, is provided.
We welcome a quiet, well-behaved dog at no extra charge. Only one furry friend allowed (sorry, no cats). Please keep your dog on a lead within the property boundaries. Please note that non-guests are not permitted on the property.
To the rear of the annex is a decked area with outdoor furniture that is shared with the home owners. For the location of the annex within our property, please see image provided on property layout.
Our property
We are surrounded by fields for grazing sheep and cattle, though you won’t have to look far to see ‘wild life’ as we also share our home with our dogs and horses.
We are conveniently located off the A21, and just 10-15 minutes’ walk to Robertsbridge village, which offers shops, a café and bakery, pubs, restaurant, pharmacy, post office, vet and overground train station.
