Where every window frames Trunk Bay's beautiful rugged coastline, with its soft sandy beach & azure ocean. Elegant, minimalist & luxurious, Ventana is the perfect place to share quality time lounging by the pool or BBQing whilst the sun sinks below the horizon.

Nestled lower on the mountainside than most in this prestigious estate, one of Tortola's most secluded & idyllic beaches is just a 4 min walk away.

LIVING AREAS:
Decorated with high-end minimalist furniture, the villa manages to perfectly create a welcoming & relaxing feeling whilst still being uncluttered and luxurious. The indoor and outside areas flow together seamlessly with huge glass sliding doors - usually left open to welcome the ocean breeze.

Going through the wooden gate signifies leaving the rest of the world behind you and entering your very own tropical paradise. You'll arrive at the open-plan living room and kitchen with views that are a breathtaking backdrop for both cooking and relaxing. The stylish fully-equipped kitchen and its stainless steel appliances mean you're totally covered for self-catering. The kitchen island with high stools is a pretty idyllic spot to be able to prepare your meals as well as an informal dining option in addition to the fabulous alfresco dining area. The indoor seating area completes the villa - kick back and watch the SmartTV or chat over a cool drink as music plays in the background and the waves roll below. Those huge glass sliding doors that we mentioned open this area to the outside although you also have the option to close up and turn on the AC in the summer heat.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
1, 2 & 3) Three bedrooms are spaced throughout the villa and of similar size making it perfect for 3 couples to share without there being a "master suite". Each is light, airy and modern and furnished with a queen size bed, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and expansive glass sliding doors for awe-inspiring views any time of day. Each also has a private porch to enjoy a morning coffee, evening cocktail or just a quiet read.

STEP OUTSIDE:
As you follow the path to the villa, you'll peak glimpses of the view through the lush foliage, only to be wowed as you step down to the main deck that wraps across the front of the villa. The beach view really is breath-taking on any day of the year, in any weather...it feels a secret bay far from the real world.

The infinity pool is perfection, whether fully immersed or sitting on the edge to cool off with your feet swinging back and forth. Sun-loungers as well as cushioned bench-style sofas offer relaxing seating options, as well as occasional chairs dotted further along the deck.

A large built-in propane BBQ is the perfect addition to your covered alfresco dining area. Grilling a local lobster whilst the sun sinks over the bay below ... it doesn't get much more blissful than that.

AC: There is both AC & ceiling fans throughout

HOUSEKEEPING: is once a week. All linen and towels will be changed and a general cleaning will be done. Daily housecleaning can be arranged at your own expense.

SECURITY CAMERA: There's a ring camera facing into the driveway for security purposes, it does not overlook any living area/porch.

GENERATOR: the automatic-start generator is a great plus for any pesky power outages

NEARBY
Ventana nestles into a lower lot closer to sea-level than most villas in this prestigious and well-maintained estate overlooking Trunk Bay on the North side of Tortola. The villas are dotted around on large lots maintaining privacy for all.

TRUNK BAY (on your doorstep)
One of Tortola's most beautiful and unspoilt beaches, you won't find much here other than white sands, crystal blue waters and the sound of the waves. It's a short but steep/bumpy walk down the hillside track.

ROAD TOWN (3.1 miles away)
Here, you'll have a choice of great restaurants, bars & coffee shops (Capriccio's, Lady Sarah's, Dragonfly, The Dove, Botella and Island Roots are some our faves), the Road Town ferry terminal which you can catch boats to Virgin Gorda & St Thomas, and plenty of shops for souvenirs (try Nutmeg & Co and EC Soap Co for locally made products and gifts). You'll also find our largest grocery stores here (Riteway Pasea Estate and OneMart Superstore) plus specialty food stores like Steakation and The French Deli.

JOSIAH'S BAY (4.4 miles away)
offers amazing surf for both beginners and pros and is home to BVI Surf School where you can rent a board or book a lesson. There's also a couple of low-key beach bars for a cold beer and a snack here too.

CANE GARDEN BAY (5.9 miles away)
The buzziest beach on island, you'll find a whole variety of Restaurants and Bars (Indigo Beach House, Elms, Paradise Bar, Myett's plus many more) lining the water. You'll also find a small grocery store, a white sand beach with calm swimming and options for watersports and Callwood's Rum Distillery. *all these amenities mean that the cruise ship passengers come here, so look online for the "BVI cruise ship schedule" to avoid the busier days.

Magical Experience
When my husband and I first walked into Ventana, tears welled up in my eyes at how absolutely beautiful and fitting this villa was. We spent our mornings and evenings on the patio overlooking Trunk Bay enjoying the crash of waves, gorgeous sunrise and sunsets while watching the various boats motor or sail buy beyond the bay. The home came fully equipped with all we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms to make our stay comfortable and homy. After a quick trip to the grocery store, we didn't miss a beat on having things to easily cook while visiting. During out stay, there was a plumbing issue, but JC didn't waste any time to get it resolved quickly and even had cleaners come to disinfect, so no interrupts at all in our activities or stay. We were SO pleased with their attention to detail, quick response and making our stay easy with things like arranging a car rental, dropping it off at our location and easy return at the airport. We loved how we could open the doors and allow the music of nature to fill the room while cooking or sleeping. It's absolutely magical, and we definitely look forward to returning again some day! The beach was perfect to explore, and we found a small lagoon that we nicknamed the Autry lagoon because it was so picturesque against the crashing waves on the rocks. We couldn't be more happy with our host, the home and our experience while in Tortola. It was a much needed holiday to rest, replenish and reset our mind and body!

Incredible property with insane views! The beach was a light hike from the property but not too bad. I would recommend a 4WD vehicle with good clearance to get to the beach if you need to bring beach chairs etc. Well appointed with no expense spared. A couple of minor repairs are needed, but I would certainly stay again!

Highly recommend! We can't wait to return!
We feel so lucky to have stayed here and highly recommend you do the same! The villa is even prettier than it looks in the photos. Every room has large sliding doors that open up to amazing ocean views and outdoor space. The property is private, quiet, and very clean. The kitchen is well-supplied...we cooked 1-2 meals a day and had everything needed. Villas of Tortola provided a very high level of service. Sharlene answered all of our questions beforehand, giving us suggestions for grocery delivery, rental cars, and equipment rentals. Our deliveries were unpacked and organized before our arrival. Sharlene and Shaniece met us at the ferry with our rental car and even led us to the house so we wouldn’t get lost. They also provided a cleaning service during our stay, which wasn’t expected. We made a last-minute decision on our last full day to charter a boat to snorkel at the Indians and Norman Island Caves. We couldn’t find anyone with availability, until we called Sharlene and she arranged a charter within an hour. We did find that texted questions got quicker response than email inquiries. Walk to Beach: The house is very close to the only access road, so it takes about 5 minutes to walk down to the beach. The hill is steep and uneven but shouldn’t be a problem for most people. If you have a sturdy car, like a jeep you could drive down in seconds. Beach: It felt like we had our own private beach. Besides running into a couple of people walking the beach in the mornings, it was empty. The water was warm and clear and the sand was soft and smooth. The waves were pretty rough, and we had been warned the tow could be strong, so we stayed closer to the shore than we normally would. At night we found if we brushed the sand to the side, there was glowing pinpoints from bioluminescent plankton! Distance: It took us about 10 minutes to Road Town and 15 minutes to Cane Bay. The roads are steep and curvy, but if you have a confident driver, you can navigate them quickly. Layout: The house has 4 separate spaces: The living room/kitchen area and then 3 separate suites (1 upstairs across from the kitchen and 2 downstairs). The staircase is outside and you have to step outside to get to each suite. It’s a perfect setup for groups looking for some privacy but it might make parents with small children uneasy.
