Pros-The young man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The air conditioning worked very well. Hot water was good, but the water smells and tastes not so good, and I have not encountered this elsewhere in Quesnel. The room had a fridge and a microwave, a real bonus.The neighbours were quiet so no trouble sleeping. Beds were fine.
It was very inexpensive so I hesitate to complain, but as I rely on these reviews when I am selecting a hotel I will be frank. The reviews for the Willow were half very bad and half good, so I figured maybe some of the fussier people were the princess type. Not so. We asked to have the sheets changed, (blood and ? stains, at least I hope they were stains), and this was done, no problem. We let them know the door handle was loose and it was promptly fixed also. Extra pillows were provided as they were very thin, anything we asked for we did receive promptly.But the room really needed a good clean, and there were mouse droppings in the cupboard.Not very many plug ins either.The parking lot had garbage thrown around and the junipers had a telephone and underwear thrown there, maybe that is why the room has no telephone or clock. (Also strangely, not one picture on the walls, very bleak.) Windows could do with a clean, all in all, it looked as though no one cared.
