The space
This fully renovated 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom 1500sqft main floor suite has lots of space for you and your family.
The beams and vaulted ceilings offer an amazing space that is great to relax and visit. Whether you are cooking in the kitchen or playing games in the living room, the open concept feel means you won't miss out on any of the action.
The main living area is warm and inviting thanks to the many windows in the main room. High end top down light filtering blinds allow natural light to come in but offer you the privacy you want. There are many fine furnishings in the main living area including custom cabinets, modern lighting and premium flooring. Cozy up by the natural gas fireplace in the living room after a hard day of adventuring to read a book or watch TV on our 50” Smart TV with Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime.

Our fresh modern and sophisticated kitchen boasts a stainless fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. There is a large bay window for lots of natural light, granite countertops with a peninsula eating bar and all of the amenities. Whether you love to cook or just want to toss in a frozen pizza, this kitchen has everything you need. We have it well stocked with everything we thought you might need from pots and pans, a toaster, electric kettle and even kids plates, bowls and cups. Because we love coffee, we have supplied you with all of the K-cups you can drink. We provide a coffee grinder and french press for however and whenever you like your java.

Traveling with another couple? There is no need to play rock-paper-scissors for the master suite as this property has not one, but two master bedrooms each with their own beautiful ensuite. The larger of the two master bedrooms has a king bed with the finest linens and the most comfortable memory foam mattress you have ever laid on. It also features a walk-in closet with another huge closet for storing luggage and hanging clothing, blackout blinds and a wall mounted smart LED TV. In addition to the ensuite, this room is equipped with a powder sink, sleek subway tiles, LED mirror and granite counter.
The smaller, but no-less luxurious master bedroom has a queen bed with a fantastic memory foam mattress, quality linens and of course a modern and tastefully tiled ensuite. There is a massive closet for all of your luggage to stay organized and out of the way.
The third bedroom offers much of the same design elements as the others. This room has a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single on the top each with high end memory foam mattresses. The manufacturer recommends a max weight of 165lbs for the upper bunk. This east facing room offers great views in the morning but with blackout blinds your sleep will be sure to be uninterrupted.

Traveling with kids can be tough. Don’t worry we have kids too. We know that it can be a challenge to fit all of their things into your vehicle. Well, leave the high chair and playpen at home and let us provide them for you.

Upon entry you may notice a large empty storage room to your right. We have set that up for all of your gear. We have expensive gear and equipment and think that yours is just as important to you. Whatever the occasion and season we want to make sure your gear is safe and sound too. Bring your hockey equipment, snowshoes, skis, snowboard, hiking gear, fishing equipment, camping setup or whatever else is in your vehicle and leave it in our carefree storage room where it will be safe and sound.

The laundry area provides a space for sorting, folding and hanging your clothes. Complete with a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board we will make sure you look and feel your best for any occasion. There is a half bath off of the laundry room for your convenience too.

Outdoor Living
The suite has 2 great decks for you to enjoy. The east facing deck is great for those early risers that enjoy a hot cup of coffee and catching the colours of the beautiful southern alberta sunrises as they crest the hills east of town and illuminate the many wind turbines that are famous in the area. The south deck is great for relaxing in the summer evenings and enjoying the smells of the many lilac bushes. It is both private and sheltered from the wind and sun and a great space for relaxing in the long summer evenings. The lower backyard is a shared space with lots of luscious grass and a firepit for making smores or enjoying the crackling warmth of a summer night campfire.

Guest Access
The entrance is through a contactless keypad with your own personal code. The double car carport makes for a nice sheltered parking area. A 2 bedroom 1 bathroom basement suite is rented separately and has separate laundry and entrance. Safe and sound insulation installed between floors for added sound protection.


Other things to note
-Absolutely NO smoking anything/anywhere on the premises (indoor or outdoor), NO pets, NO parties, NO functions (guests are not to host additional people without approval from hosts).
-Parking: Main floor guests have access to the suite through the covered carport. There are many off street-parking spaces and several on street parking spaces along Frederick Street.
-All bedrooms and living areas feature an interconnected fire and CO detector.

The house was very nice: clean, had nice furniture and comfortable beds. The reasons for taking away a star were: ... We were told by VRBO to expect to receive the entrance code 3 days before arrival. We were anxious about not getting it till the day we arrived. ... The keypad wasn't clear to us, so we were briefly locked out one day. We didn't see any instructions for its use. ... The cooking utensils. though plentiful, were of low quality and hard to use (flimsy spatulas etc.) ....Wecould have used a hand mixer. These were all minor things in an otherwise great rental. We would have given it 4.5 stars if that had been possible.

We had a challenging start We arrived an hour before check in time and host seemed put out by that. We had difficulty getting the lock pad to work since if you tap to light it in wrong place the code is invalid and it is too dark to see #s. Then we found that the hot tub in the listing was nonexistent (we have a printed copy of said listing even if now deleted) However the unit itself is super clean…the rooms are large and well furnished…all appliances we used ran perfectly. There are numerous nice touches like grocery bags, and dishwasher soap and shower supplies. The bed was most comfortable. The unit would benefit from an info sheet on the hvac and on tv operation We enjoyed our stay. It was ironic that the host expressed a hope we would checkout earlier to facilitate cleaning having been concerned with a minor earlier check in

Comfortable space for a small group.
This was a very nice space with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, useful for a group of colleagues. It was as indicated in the description and provided a full kitchen with everything one would need! It provided private space in the rooms and a nice area to gathering. Five of us sisters from around the world stayed for a few days and loved it! Our place was beautiful, had all the amenities we needed, was quiet and in a great location…,within walking distance of downtown, walking trails and great eats! Japhia was very gracious in allowing us a later checkout time and even supplied a parks pass which we could use for Waterton. We would all come back and next time stay longer.

It more than met our expectations. The entrance pass to Waterton Lakes National Park was a surprise bonus. Instructions provided for entry and check out were clear. Only "problem" we had was trying to figure out how to work the TV in the living room. We wanted to watch either the evening CTV or CBC national news, but had no idea how to access either. But since all four of us are in our 80s, today's "smart" televisions pose a generational difficulty. Had our grandchildren been with us, they could have easily figured it out!

Family get away
This property was fantastic for our family get together. Very clean and the kitchen is very nicely stocked, the only thing might be a blender and a new fry pan. It honestly has lots. Lots of morning sun on front deck, to enjoy coffee while my husband watched the many vintage vehicle's that are obviously owned and enjoyed in the beautiful summer month's. We explored the area and throughly enjoyed ever minute. Thank you, would definitely stay again

Great house in scenic Pincher Creek
For anyone enjoying the beautiful landscape of the Pincher Creek area, this is a great home base. The house was clean, spacious, and well equipped. It was great to have a modern kitchen and multiple washrooms for our stay. The covered parking space was also convenient for loading the car while it was raining. Our only minor inconvenience was a chilly temperature one morning. The host was prompt in adjusting the temperature remotely, though it would have been nice to have some control over the thermostat ourselves. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and have already booked this location for our next visit. Big thanks to Japhia and her family for the hospitality and attention to detail that made our stay so comfortable.
