Horrible!
First of, let's start with the good. I like that this place can accommodate my big family. And that is pretty much the only good thing. At the gate check-in they didn't even have our name on the reservation but another family's name. We were not sure if another family was going to show up some time when we were there. The gate keeper just let us through anyways. Our check-in time was 4pm. We arrived at 4pm and noticed the housekeeper was still there. The house was a mess! She told us that it was going to take her another 30 mins to clean up. Looking at the mess we knew it would take more time than that so a couple of us helped her cleaned so we can get settled in since we drove from MN. It took us 1.5hrs to help her clean!! The house was so dirty, dusty and moldy. None of the sinks drained and the showers were disgusting. There were thick dust in the vents and on the ceiling fans. There were stains on carpets and dents in the walls and refrigerator. The sheets were stained and the comforters looked like they haven't been washed in ages. We were constantly cleaning during our stay. There were not enough towels for all of us, the housekeeper said she had to throw away 10 towels from previous renters. Anyways, when I brought this up to the Host they disabled the chat and did not pick up any phone calls. I contacted VRBO directly and they told me that the host booked the rental back to back so it was impossible for the housekeeper to clean on time. How is that our problem? Overall, nothing was resolved and the host never contacted me back. I reached out to VRBO directly again as I had not heard back from the Host and they pretty much told me that they cannot help me as this issue is to be resolved by the Host that never contacts you. Very unprofessional. Do not rent from this place.

Not completely enjoyable
When we entered we could tell right away that this property was not well kept up. Baseboards are filthy. Found a couple of dead roaches; didn't expect to clean before we started vacation and it's not like we could get another house ..since its vrbo..so we were stuck. Furniture upstairs is torn. No TV in the 3 bed bedroom, cable ripped from wall. Shower, one of them, was un-useable because it wouldn't drain. Pools was dirty as well. The owner was responsive and got a few things cleaned like pool... but we ended up having to wash all bedding because it was clear that it wasnt and we also cleaned baseboards, as it appears it obviously is not part of anything cleaners do.

Dirty with too much wear and tear
This villa was not cleaned properly and we had to spend significant time and money to have it thoroughly cleaned upon arrival. We had to use twist ties to secure the pool gate, since management did not respond to our email regarding the broken safety gate (even though we informed them that we had young toddlers staying at the villa). The pool net had holes everywhere. The second half of the vacation was windy and the pool got extremely dirty from all the surrounding dirt and leaves. It was not unsable. Pool net was only repaired on the last day of our 11 night stay. We also had RATS entering the pool area every evening because of multiple holes in the net. The area is infested with mice and rats, which come out at night. Make sure never to leave the back sliding door open or you will have visitors! We had to purchase mouse traps multiple times to place near the holes on the bottom of the net. Each morning, we got rid of the rats and replaced with new traps. We have been staying at championsgate for years. We never experienced rats in any other villa! We removed the lounge chair cushions because they were too filthy to sit on. They were really disgusting actually. Because of the bar in the back of each lounge chair, we could not lay comfortably on them. Overall, we barely used the pool, for which we paid extra to heat up!! Other than that, there are barely enough towels to accommodate the house capacity. The sofas are ripped and discolored. Rugs are heavily stained. Area rug has holes. Felt like a 2 star motel. We reached out to management during our stay who sent us 4 towels and told us that they would make note of the rest. We asked for compensation, but they told us to contact Magri (the host of vrbo). He has been ignoring all of our emails and messages. Too bad zero stars is not an option. Don’t be deceived by the nice decor in the pictures. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere!!

Nice vacation home but needs work on cleanliness
The home is very nice, but we felt it was not as clean as it could be. Carpets are dirty and garage where games are located was really dirty...floors had a lot of dirt on them. For a 9 bedroom home there was not adequate silverware. Every bathroom was short on towels so our family of 14 had to share.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Champions Gate property. I definitely would recommend renting this property. Of course make sure to bring extra cooking ware when staying. Overall it was a great experience and stay.

Beautifully decorated and advertised, but poorly supplied and not clean
As stated, beautifully decorated, and in general we really enjoyed your Vbro. The layout is great, and the best time had, even better than the pool, was playing hid and go seek by all. The whole family had a blast every night play it. However, I don’t believe this home has been deep cleaned in a very long time. Upon entering, it all looks tidy and surfaces are clean, but when when the sun rises and you sit there for a bit, it is a different story. We checked in at night and didn’t see most issues till Saturday morning, and being they were not emergencies did not contact you. When making the beds, there were several that had stains on the sheets! The kitchen is poorly equipped with pans that are so old and warped you can’t cook on the flat top stove without burning your food. There were only 5 forks, and nothing but a sponge and dish “washer” soap to clean the countertops with. There are No pot holders, leaving us to use one of the few hand towels, and only one rack in the oven. You have three bathroom sinks that don’t drain, broken shower curtain rods. Mold under the lips of every sink, and in many of the showers. You leave 2 towels and 2 hand towels for each bathrooms when 3 of them are shared by 4 people. And not supplying washcloths?! The stairs were not vacuumed and the railing bases are covered with dust. Your carpets are very much in need of cleaning, if not replacement. There is not a mop board in the whole house that is not covered with dust, while the ones in the kitchen are also covered with food. If I could attach pictures I would. There were other issues which we contacted you about, that were taken care of, thank you! Oh and please have them fix that beautiful clock in the kitchen, maybe just batteries, but it’s stopped at 7:45. I do feel bad for telling you all these negatives, and there are more, but we feel that the money we paid to stay in your beautiful home, that it should have been cleaner and better supplied . I really thought it was just me, because I clean a Airbnb myself and take great pride in making sure things are clean, that the bathroom and kitchen amenities are fully stocked and their snacks are fresh and awaiting their arrival. But each day someone would mention the things they were seeing and experiencing as well.

Universal Stay
Property was great! Kids loved the themed rooms. Jack and Jill bathrooms were perfect to share with families. It is about a 45 minute drive to Universal Studios with medium traffic and longer if the traffic is worse. It wasn't a terrible drive and not much complaining from the kids. We just didn't realize how long it would take initially. Disney is closer to this house though. None of that has anything to do with the house. We were short on washclothes and ended up going to buy some loofahs. Lots of stores nearby so grocery shopping for our stay was easy. All in all we really enjoyed the house! Thank you!

Tons of room, a lot of space - great location and was able to be in Touch with property manager at all times! We had 4 different family’s staying and we never felt on top of each other - we’d definitely stay again!!

Everything was fine except for the fact that charter buses were not allowed to go through the gate and we were forced to walk from our bus to the house with our luggage. The girl working at the gate was very rude and refused to help us. The house was great but the bus situation was unacceptable. We were not told before hand. But the house was as expected!
