This humble home is wonderfully accessible yet quiet and secluded. Internet and cell phones work great due to the relatively close proximity to the Park's headquarters and visitors center. The market and snack shack are both within walking distance. At the bottom of the driveway, you'll find access to the levy trail which will take you to Redwood National Park trails or to the beach. You can also drive the road to both. While the Humboldt Coast is known for its fog this little area can get lots of sun and during the summer you can enjoy a dip in the crystal clear water of Redwood Creek.
The house is rustic and charming while also equipped with modern amenities. You will love your stay here however it is important to note that this is an older quirky manufactured home located close to the ocean and in a rainforest. The salt air and wet winters are hard on a house and there are a few odd twists and turns in this home that give it character. Everything in the home is in good working order and set up to enhance your enjoyment of this breathtaking environment.
Step outside the Humble Home and you'll find a gorgeous acre lot with plenty of yard and garden space to play. The porch has a panoramic view of Redwood National Park and the coast. You will love watching the sunset from the porch swing and hammock chairs. The luxury brand three person hot tub has a top of the line hydro massage. It's a great way to wind down after a fun day of exploring mother nature. There is also an outdoor eating area and fire pit with a cornhole set for hanging around the house and enjoying some quality time.
Inside, the kitchen is top chef with a double oven, 5 burner island range, microwave, dishwasher, instapot, toaster, blender, food processor, french press, single cup pour over, coffee grinder, electric water kettle, teapot, and more. There are lots of quality pots, pans, and cooking utensils. If you love to cook on vacation then you will be stoked on this setup. There is dinnerware for 8 both formal and plastic.
The living room is big and comfy with a great view of the creek and redwoods. There are lots of board games, books, and puzzles. There are extra blankets inside the cushioned storage bench by the living room windows. There is also a 100-inch movie projector for a real home theatre treat.
There are walk-in closets available in bedrooms 2 and 3. Bedroom 1 has its own bathroom with a double sink, stand-up shower, and a huge bathtub. The hall bathroom has a shower/tub. And as a bonus, both bathroom toilets are equipped with bidets. TMI? We think not.
Please let me know how I can make your visit amazing. Ask me about local adventures, I've hiked, ridden, and driven just about all of them! I have fallen in love with this area and I think you will too.
This home is equipped to host 7 very comfortably. For an extra guest, I can provide a fold-out twin mattress or a nice inflatable twin which can go underneath the loft bed in bedroom 3.
