This condo is comfortable, sunny, and full of light, offering glass doors that connect the living space to the beachfront balcony. Enjoy a living room with a flatscreen TV and views of the Gulf of Mexico, a full kitchen with a breakfast bar, and a private washer/dryer to refresh your swimsuits after a day spent on the beach. At night, you'll have free WiFi to help you plan tomorrow's adventures and flatscreen TVs in the bedrooms to lull you to sleep.


Romar Beach is a gulf-front property on the shores of Orange Beach, with grounds that include an outdoor swimming pool on the dunes, a picnic area with barbecues, and a designated dune walkover leading to the beach. You'll be less than a mile down the road from the Gulf State Park Pavilion, less than two miles from Adventure Island, and four miles east of the center of Gulf Shores and its many restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, and attractions.

Wonderful Location, but be prepared for problems.
View is amazing and location is perfect. Condo is comfortable. 1) No code was sent to enter- had to contact customer service at 11pm when we arrived and got the code- all other information was sent timely though. 2) Dirty men's underwear left in the bathroom medicine cabinet- the rest of the condo was cleaned well though. 3) Property manager did not communicate that A/C install would be completed during our 1 day stay- (and during our kids naps) 4) Bit by spider in bed at night..... ended up in Urgent Care the next day. So, net- I wouldn't stay here again, but all these issues COULD be managed with better communication and a little more attention to detail- the property deserves that- the view is amazing and location one of the best I've been to.

Great Location
Great location, great beach access, and nice condo. There are some issues that need to be addressed. 7 digit PIN codes forced us to keep phones with us all the time so we had the access code. Safety and security is great but at the same time, a key would be easier. The beds, all of them, are absolutely atrocious and so worn out. Feeling springs through the mattress is never a good thing. The beds creek & squeak with the smallest movements. Linens were left for the pullout couch, but they didn’t include a blanket. In fact, not enough blankets were in the unit period. The pillows were so flat, they should’ve been trashed years ago. All this was sent to Vacasa who manages the unit as well. While this wasn’t a deal breaker for our vacation, we won’t rebook until these types of issues are fixed.

Very Aged
The property is very old and this condo has not been updated in quite some time. Other condos have been updated on the property just not this one. Sheets and blankets are less than what you would get in a hotel. Will not rent this condo again.

Nice ocean view
The only things impressive about this property are the location and the covered parking. This is a very old unit with everything in it being old and needs updated. The couch bed was so uncomfortable that we could not use it. The microwave and refrigerator are damaged, the wicker bedroom furniture is falling apart, the deck chairs are cheap uncomfortable plastic. We found barking roaches everyday in the room. We will not stay at this place again.

The view and privacy were excellent. The unit itself is in need of major updates and not well equipped for a week long stay. Guests should be aware the unit is not close to the elevator but did have 3 fights of stairs close.

This property was filthy. They did send someone to clean. In addition to the filth the air was broken. They did also send someone out to fix the air however our first day of vacation was runed. I will look at increasing the star rating if they provide appropriate compensation.

Annoyances
There were a few issues with the unit, the most important was the failure of the elevator to work. While preparing to pack up and leave the elevator was not working and it was quite difficult for two older females to carry everything from the 3rd floor down. The location and view was amazing but the patio door really needs to be fixed. It would come off the track and was very difficult to open and close. A plumber came to finish repair on one of the toilets, which we were informed about, however before he left he used one of the white bath towels to clean up after himself. We ended up washing it so that someone didn't blame us for it's state.
