DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE EXPECTING NORMAL

Location:If you dont care for full access wifi then its as close as you can get to Whitwell Rutland Water and the food is cooked to a high standard
I chose this hotel as it was very close to Rutland water. I would not normally pay this much money for a room at full asking price. One of the most important parts for me is access to wifi. This hotel advertises as free wifi. Well on booking in I settled down and logged in. My first web page was Ebay, it logged in but as soon as I tried to sell an item on there it gave me, Access Denied, I tried several times and same Denied Access. I tried to access my bank and half way through my pass word it again gave me acess Denied. Well I tried some other web pages and again, access denied. The problem is that this wifi has filters on their system. I have stayed in many many hotels and never in all my days been denied access. When I came to pay for the room I informed by the Lady owner of my wifi problem. She quoted, Well we dont want poeple looking at naughty web sites !!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR THE RECORD I AM 48 YEARS OLD.. Intrestly when I came to pay on my credit card, the internet would not work for the card reader, more internet filter restriction ?????????
I am an Adult how totally insulting to be told what I can and can not watch on the internet. They need to advertize RESTRICTED WIFI ACCESS WIFI ONLY. There is only gprs via a mobile phone so very slow so was relying on normal access. Yes I have had to pay for internet access in other hotels after a free time limit but at least its advertise this.
