We loved staying in this pretty annexe to Brigitte's home. It had everything we needed, and was the perfect base to explore the beautiful countryside of Provence.
This apartment is on the outskirts of the small village of Murs, close to Gordes and Abbeye de Senanque. It is hidden amongst the trees in a very quiet residential area.
The kitchen is modern, and looked new. It was fully equipped with everything you might need - plenty of pots and pans and utensils, fridge, small freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher.
There was plenty of hot water, a good shower, and a very comfortable bed.
The Lavender fields around Sault are less than an hour's drive away, as is the town of St Remy where Van Gogh painted many of his famous pictures.
Brigitte warmly welcomed us into her home, and couldn't have been more helpful. She gave us lots of good advice on places to visit and made sure we had everything we needed.
One of the many highlights of staying here was sitting outside in the pretty garden in the warm evenings, listening to the sound of the Cicadas.
