This will be your destination getaway where you can leave all your worries behind and come enjoy the emerald waters and white sandy beaches of Destin. You’ll love the 3 covered porches and a view of the Gulf! New furnishings in a private setting with the largest floor plan in Cottage Retreat, and all the included amenities make for a comfortable luxurious stay! DESTIN’ation is the perfect place for families coming to enjoy the warm weather and family time. The neighborhood is a gated community which gives guests an extra feeling of security. DESTIN’ation provides guests with over 300 feet of private beach to relax and soak up the sun. DESTIN’ation is a wonderful four bedroom home along Scenic Highway 98 just steps from the white sandy private beach (easy 2-minute flat walk)! This beautifully decorated home is spacious enough for a large family and quaint enough for a smaller family. This home features two living rooms, flat screen TV’s in each room and large private balconies with plenty of outdoor seating! The clubhouse features a workout center for those wanting to continue their workout program. The 3000 sq. ft. community pool is heated during the winter months and a hot tub is available for guest enjoyment.!

Due to the pandemic, we have changed our cleaning procedures. As always, we are washing all sheets and blankets in between each guest and we are providing antibacterial soap. We are sanitizing and disinfecting all commonly touched surfaces. We highly encourage each guest to bring disinfecting wipes and any other cleaning supplies to ensure their own safety!

This home is pet-friendly making it an easy decision to bring the dog for this family affair. ** Please note that there is a $200 non-refundable pet fee if you are bringing a pet. Two dogs max and they must be under 30 pounds.

Amazing stay!!
We have been staying in the Beach Retreat Community for nearly 20 years! We absolutely love this particular beach cottage! We have stayed in it a few times! The owners have thought of everything from beach chairs, toys, fans (the AC works great) extra blankets, beach towels, tables, chairs and a fully stocked kitchen!! The list goes on!! Wonderful property and location to the beach & pool!
Very clean and organized property! They have thought of everything you could possibly need. Beach chairs/umbrellas/beach toys for kids!! Only suggestion I would make is you do not need to purchase a parking spot at the pool because this property is right across from the pool. Owner took care of a small issue promptly! Would love to return again!! Highly recommend!!

Rent It; You Won't Regret It!
The pictures don't do this place justice, which easily accommodated our family of eight adults and four small children. The bedrooms were spacious (including the bunkroom, which is large enough for an adult(s)) and equipped with remote-controlled ceiling fans for individual comfort. You could see the Gulf from the third-floor living room and balcony. This rental is in a prime location, as it's the second house at Cottage Retreat. The walk to the beach was short, with the beach access located directly across the street from the entrance to Beach Retreat/Cottage Retreat. The pool's located just across the street from the rental and never felt overcrowded, even on days when there were double-red flags, and most people avoided the beach. You can purchase additional parking spots in front of the clubhouse, which is situated between the rental and the pool. Anyone parking there felt like they were still parking directly in front of the rental itself. We all loved staying here.

This was our first time in Destin, FL. We were a family of 9 adults and 1 infant. We were so pleased with the location. Short walk to the beach, easy access to the pool. Short drive to a grocery store. We had four vehicles - 2 spaces at the unit and 2 that we rented - all close to the unit. The host was very attentive and prompt in answering any questions we might have. The unit was well equipped with plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

New Years family trip
We had a tremendous trip! Wonderful accommodations for all, and the home was very well equipped for our stay. The location was amazing, the beds were super comfortable, the beach was less than two minutes to walk to, plenty of beach towels and chairs, fun games to play at the house, everything so clean, and the hosts were always attentive and so quick to reply when we had an inquiry about anything. This was the best! The kitchen was well stock as was the supply closet for outdoors. We wanted for nothing. There was never a point that anyone said, “I wish we had….” And so close to the beach. If you are thinking about renting this property, think no longer. Just do it, you won’t be sorry

Amazing Family Vacation
Location was perfect! Close to pool, beach and restaurants. The house was clean, plenty of room for 12 of us and Thor and Deborah were very easy to communicate with. We needed additional parking which is right across the way from the condo and that process was easy. We stayed in Destin pointe for 7 years and are so glad we tried this area and found this gem! We will definitely be booking this house again!

The house was located just across the street from the ocean. Super easy walk when carrying beach chairs and toys. The pool and fitness center were a few steps away, and the neighborhood was quiet and secluded from the busy beach front road.
