After 3 years we returned to Riad Andalla and not much has changed: The whole team still supports you in a way, we nowhere else have experienced on our many trips through the world and the location near the Jemaa el Fna couldn't be better.
All recommendations of the team are very helpful, you really should follow them. One of the changes: You can have dinner at the Riad. There is no menu to choose from, what you get depends on what the market delivered in the morning. We strongly recommend to have dinner at least once (taste one of their moroccan wines!).
What we see as an advantage, others might see as a disadvantage: Some of the rooms are really small. The rooms are also not that quiet, is is an open house, you hear the laughter of delighted guests(;-) and depending on the room you might hear the sounds from Jemaa el Fna. If this "staying with friends" atmosphere is nothing for you, if you prefer more privacy and/or more luxury, you might have a look at the newly opened Riad Andalla SPA a few minutes away. The pictures on their website give a pretty good impression on what you can expect.
You will experience the big, big advantage of the "andalla groupe", the incredible kindness and hospitality of the team in both Riads. Especially one of the owners, Christophe, will help, support, arrange and manage absolutely everything you might need. This is the unique feature and this is what makes both Riads very special.
