Great place, horrible communication
The location of this unit is perfect for summer and winter activities, being just a short walk to the Village. Check-in was smooth, and we settled in quickly. However, 3 hours later, I received a vague text from Vacasa about an urgent issue stating we had to relocate, with no additional details. I actually thought it was spam, so I called the number on my confirmation email. After calling, I learned they wanted to move us due to a water heater leak, meaning no hot water. This should have been addressed before we checked in. The alternate location they offered was far and not nearly as nice, so we opened to stay without hot water, but the issue wasn’t resolved during our entire stay. The lack of timely communication and action was frustrating. I was offered a comp of $200 which is insane considering the circumstances and that they would have had to pay for another unit if we chose to relocate. Though the place itself was great, the property management was beyond disappointing.
I would give this another shot for winter because of the epic location.
