From your arrival, you will notice the care and attention to detail the homeowners have put into the remodel of this property. From the front door where festive lights greet you from the front deck to the firepit with its colorful Adirondack chairs - every space speaks the word "welcome."
As soon as you enter the house, you know you are right at home. Feel the coziness surround you as you move into the open living space with exposed loft area and open beams. Imagine catching up with friends or your favorite book in front of the gas fireplace - don't forget the floor pillows are there for a purpose! Each bedroom has a flat screen TV with Roku, Hulu and Disney+. A second full bathroom with shower is on the main level.

There is so much to do around this vacation home all year-round. The Timberline is easy paved access during the summer months and is located just a few minutes’ drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area (known for being one of the first ski resorts in the US to open each year), Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (a historic motorcycle museum featured on the History Channel's “American Pickers”), horseback riding and golfing. In about 25 minutes, you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing. This home is about a 20 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Harrah's Cherokee Casino (even if you do not gamble, Harrah's has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).
A little more than 50 minutes away, you’ll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estate & Winery (America's largest and most visited privately-owned home), many great restaurants and micro-breweries, and 1 hour and 30 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.
Approximately, 1 hour away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas. You are just under 1 hour 35 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (home of Dollywood).
