This room is on the 2nd floor, twin beds & comfortable seating area, bathroom with overbath shower & balcony. There are NO kitchen or additional lounge facilities. Wifi & Samsung 55 inch Smart TV. A small bunk bedroom (beds are fixed) can be added if required for a max of 1 additional guest, a baby counts as a guest! Located uphill, approx 300m from railway.

With 2 twin Murphy style beds, seating area and an additional small bunk room with 2 fixed beds which can used by 1 additional guest. Well appointed bathroom with overbath shower and 2 windows. There is a fridge, Nespresso coffee capsule machine and kettle for heating water. WiFi and 55 inch Smart TV. Balcony with small table. Shared entrance hall where all outdoor shoes must be left.

I follow Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol. Significantly increased cleaning time to meticulously prepare the apartment for arrivals, this includes wearing protective gear to prevent cross contamination, anti-viral cleaning and electrostatic procedures, I use extensive cleaning checklists and provide extra cleaning supplies so you can clean as you stay. There is a vacuum cleaner and also a floor mop with bucket. I leave the apartment sealed for arrivals. All guests will be asked to mist all luggage with anti-viral spray and use hand sanitiser (which will be left in the shelving inside the chalet entrance door) before entering the apartment.
All outdoor shoes must be left in the shelving in the communal ground floor hall, adjacent to the chalet entrance door.
General: We ask that as guests, you leave this apartment as you found it. If there is any damage, please let Kathleen know before you check out.
Please follow the check out procedures as noted on the app and within the booklet in the apartment.
Please respect that there are others in the building & as per Swiss convention, do not make any noise between 22.00hrs & 07.00hrs.
Garbage/Trash: Please ensure ALL trash is removed from the apartment before you leave. PET bottles can be recycled at the Coop, cardboard & glass at the recycling centre adjacent to the railway station. Everything else need to be thrown out using a GREY or WHITE tax bag, these can be purchased at the Coop, you need to ask for them at the counter. The closest place to leave your trash is right next to the railway bridge, as you are heading from the apartment back towards the village, it is on the left hand side before you go under the bridge.
Bedding, Towels: Please strip the bedding, duvet cover, pillowcases, sheets etc and leave all items to be washed in the bath.
Cleaning Materials: All are housed in the hallway half landing along with a vacuum cleaner and a mop with bucket.
Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer: please do not use this overnight as it will disturb other guests. This is a paid for service by honesty. p Please leave the money inside the information booklet. Please do not abuse.
Doors & Keys: There are a number of steps leading to the front door, this always locked, so don't forget your keys. You will be given a set of keys which must be returned at checkout.
Wengen is a car free village, the only access is via train or by foot. Any cars must be left in the village of Lauterbrunnen at the cost of the guest.
People in Wengen: Speak Swiss German with quite a heavy accent, most understand English.
Shopping & Eating: We have a Coop supermarket for all essentials, a smaller local supermaket called Dorflade, a bakery, a jewellers, a craft shop, a photo shop & several sports shops. There is a Post Office & a couple of banks, both with ATM's. There are several bars & restaurants throughout the village.
Smoking: Please do not smoke inside, on the balcony or outside of the house.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the private room and bathroom only, no other areas. There are NO kitchen or additional lounge facilities.
There is a shared entrance hallway to the chalet with a shelved shoe storage area and coat hooks. You are asked never to wear your outdoor shoes in the apartment.
Check In is between 16.00hrs - 19.00hrs and Check Out is NO LATER than 10.00hrs on date of departure.

This apartment is located within a larger traditional wooden building, noise should be kept to a minimum whilst entering at all times, and in line with Swiss Regulations, there should be no noise between the hours of 10pm & 7am.
The main/front entrance door should be locked at all times.
