Welcome to our stunning farmhouse short-term rental in Walker, MN, located just across the street from the beautiful Leech Lake. With a private boat slip available, this rental is perfect for families and groups of friends looking to enjoy the lake life and all the beauty that Northern Minnesota has to offer.

The farmhouse has been 100% remodeled with high-end finishes and can comfortably sleep up to 14 guests. There are two bedrooms and a large bunk room, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. The master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed, while the other bedroom has a queen-size bed. The bunk room has four queen-size beds, a futon, and plenty of space for guests to relax and unwind.

The main living area is spacious and perfect for socializing, with an open-concept kitchen and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and everything you need to prepare delicious meals for your group. The living room features a cozy fireplace and comfortable seating, ideal for relaxing after a long day on the lake.

We have 8 acres of very private setting with no neighbors

The Paul Bunyon snowmobile trail is across the street. The property is located between leach lake and swamp lake with easy access to both.

Close to leach lake, steamboat lake, and the Paul Bunyon snowmobile trail We are pet friendly with a small pet fee. All guests are required to sign a short-term lease and follow all house rules. No smoking, no illegal drugs, no underage drinking. No commercial vedography. Pets must be on a lease at the boat launch/slip area at all times. Outdoor cameras on all exterior doors with recording capabilities. Please reach out at any time with any questions.
Any person violating any house rules is grounds for removal from the property with the reservation canceled with no refund. All guests are required to review and sign a short-term lease Only the person that booked the reservation is allowed to check in. All guests must have a valid phone number.
Homeowners do not need permission to access the property at any time with 1/2 hour notice.
Additional guests not on the reservation will be charged 100.00 per night per person above the occupancy limit.
This is a NON-smoking property, including vaping inside or out. If a guest smokes at the property, there will be an additional $250.00 fee.
No illegal drug use, no under-age drinking
Pets are welcome with prior approval from the homeowner host DOG only 1 under 50 LBS.
No pet shall be left unattended inside or outside of the home at any time: service animal or other.
If the home is left extremely dirty at check out, there will be an additional cleaning fee of $250.00
If the guest does not vacate within 2 hours, they will be charged an additional day stay; however, it does not give them access for the additional day.
Guest violating any house rules or local laws will immediately be removed from the property with no refund.

The minimum age requirement MUST BE 25 years old or older to rent this home.

Family Fishing Trip
Wonderful property, close enough to all activities and far enough away from the city, neighborhood noise or you can make noise and not disturb anyone. Property owners respond to all messages quickly and efficiently. Home is comfortable,clean and fully stocked with everything a family needs and then some. Highly recommend this property and would definitely return. We stay in a lot of different vacation rentals and I would definitely put this in the top 10! Thank you for making our family vacation special.

Nice Getaway
With small kiddos we were worried about the boat slip being close, we never even saw it during our stay. Comfy beds, the room upstairs has four large beds so not divided into separate spaces if that's a need you have. Cozy blankets and towels, plenty of items in the kitchen to use, the grill is small for a large group, but we just grilled in shifts and used the oven, private lawn and space, less than 10 minutes from Walker and 15 minutes from single track trails in Paul Bunyon. Rented a pontoon from Trapper's Landing and had an excellent experience there as well.

Quiet and relaxing
We left refreshed and relaxed! The cabin is robustly appointed, warm, clean and spacious. We visit the forest center in Cass Lake, hiked in Cass Lake and along the NCT (Woodtick Trail) south of Walker. The game room entertained kids and adults while the living room was perfect for puzzles and sports watching. Deer and turkeys visited! Large kitchen made cooking simple. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful to our many questions.

Nice Cabin in the Walker Woods! Great spaces to relax, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - nice open kitchen
This cool cabin is nestled in the woods about 10 miles outside of Walker, MN. Very comfortable & inviting with two covered porches, and a small fire pit. There are 3 bedrooms, the large suite includes a large bathroom, shower & tub. There is also a small bedroom downstairs. The upstairs "bunkroom" had 2 queen bunk beds, air hockey, and a fun Ms. Pac-Man video game. It was a little difficult to split the families into rooms because so many of the sleeping spaces were in the one big bunk, room. The owners were quick to respond to questions, and check-in was quick & easy. The cabin is 10 miles from Walker - swimming, museum, shops, and good eating! The Farmers' Market on Thursday in Walker was AMAZING - live music, tons of vendors, and a library book walk that my granddaughter loved!

The Great Leech Lake Escape
I booked this beautiful home for a family get together including adults and kids (1 infant). We had never been to Leech Lake or Walker, MN before and had a few questions for starters. Donna, the owner, was not only extremely helpful, she would respond to me almost immediately. That was the first sign that these folks truly cared for this property, responsiveness is critical for me, says a lot.... Upon arrival, the home was in top notch condition. This is a large property, 8 acres of land surround this magnificent home, plenty of outdoor space to park (we had a boat and trailer as well), to take a morning stroll, sit on the porch or around the fire and just do what vacations are for, RELAX! The interior was all new appliances and fully stocked, massive kitchen and enough open space for a family reunion in the kitchen/hearth/living area that overlooks the landscape. More space than we ever knew what to do with and enough beds to sleep a platoon. The knucklehead that rented prior to us somehow managed to put a big dent in the owners brand new dishwasher, which Donna informed me about prior to our arrival in any case. Too bad others do not treat these special properties with the respect they deserve, but that is why the insurance is required I suppose. The home was exceptional, everything was perfect, and the communication was probably the best I have ever had. Finally, the location cannot be beat. Just minutes away from Walker, which we found to be a GEM of a town with shopping, tons of restaurants, entertainment and the longest 4th of July parade I have ever seen. Leech Lake itself is just across the highway, my son and I used the owners private boat launch and slip and while we didn't catch any state record walleyes, we did OK for July. Thanks Donna for everything, time is all we have left, and that time with family is the most important of all. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with me and my kids. Best! - Matt

Very nice place. There were a few little issues at first but owners were quick to respond and take care of. We had a great time with family for the week. Nice to have a slip on lake for our boat and bike trail was easy to access.
