To be honest, I knew the apartment was dated but it didn't appear very clean either. For example, the bed linens seemed worn and old, the bathroom (shower) smelled moldy, the trash wasn't taken out in the kitchen, and the bathroom towels smelled bad. The fridge did not work for us after plugging it in, the bathroom towels were not full length towels (but rather hand towels), the WIFI was unreliable. The outside grounds were unkept and overgrown, the entrance did not have stairs and was only a steep ramp which is a hazard in my opinion. The communication with the owner was prompt. She allowed us to check in early, when the WIFI didn't work, she called to walk us through the steps to get it working. I didn't tell her about the fridge because we didn't really need it except for cooling beverages. There was a washing machine that seemed new but we never used it. The windows are newer dual pane. I chose this place, knowing it was dated but wanted to be close to a friend I was visiting. Even though the apartment was a 2 minute walk to my friend's house which was VERY convenient, I don't think I would book here again, unfortunately. I did not like the place but the owner seemed ready to help and accessible. If she had not been communicative, I probably would have counted my losses and booked another place and lost the money spent on this one.
