This newly renovated ground floor, corner unit, studio condo sleeps 4 with 2 queen beds. It features a bright, open feel. You’re just steps from the lifts and a two-minute drive or free ride on the green line shuttle from River Run Village or Lakeside Village. Slopeside Condominiums offers shared amenities, including two rooftop hot tubs. Renters will have access to a private ski locker during their stay.

The entryway has mounted hooks for your convenience as you come and go throughout the day. The living area has a mounted smart TV and an electric fireplace. There are two queen-sized beds and a sofa. The kitchenette is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. It features a small refrigerator and a near-full-sized refrigerator/freezer, two microwaves, and dishwasher. There's a four-person dining area in the living area. The beautifully remodeled bathroom features a double sink vanity and a shower/tub combination with tile surround. It is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

Privacy Concerns Left Unaddressed
While the space itself wasn't bad, several major issues made my stay disappointing and frustrating: 1. Privacy Concern: The large blind separating the bed/living room from the public space was broken. Despite reaching out for a repair through three different methods, it was never fixed during our stay. This left our bed area and living room space fully exposed to anyone walking to the shared spaces like the deck, fireplace, and hot tub, which felt extremely uncomfortable. 2. Misleading Language: The listing on VRBO claimed it was a “3 minute walk” to Keystone Resort. But Mountain House village (lodging location) wasn't open for the season yet. Instead, we had to use a shuttle to the open village/slope, which required navigating a confusing and inconvenient pick-up spot (specific to weekdays, when shuttle pickup location changed). Walking in ski boots to the nearest open village ended up taking 25–30 minutes instead. * On weekends, the shuttle pickup is available closer to the lodging. This wasn’t clearly explained and caused additional delays. * The Resort published shuttle runs starting 9am, but not on weekdays/early in the season —the Mountain House pickup was almost 1.5~2 hours later than advertised. 3. Broken Elevator and Inconvenient Check-in/Check-out Times: Check-in at 4:30 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM felt rushed. The elevator was broken upon checkout, and we had to carry all of our luggage in ski boots, rushed, because the checkout was quite early.

EXTREMELY Disappointed in my stay
My family and I stayed here to celebrate a milestone birthday. For starters, the property is very hard to get to, especially with the construction going on. We had to call the emergency line to get directions over the phone. Then, upon entering the property, there were several issues. The biggest issue was the fact that one of the blinds were broken to the point to where they could not be closed, so it was wide open for all to see. Being on the first floor, there were people walking by looking in at us. Again, I had to call the emergency line to get temporary blinds put up, and were told they were already aware of the issue could be fixed the next morning. That turned out to be false, and I was told by the property manager Maria the next morning that they wouldn’t be able to fix them before we left. I find it completely unacceptable that they would rent this place out in the condition it is in. On top of the broken blinds, there were several other issues: uncomfortable bed, peeling/chipped paint, missing shower hooks, rusty bathroom, broken floor tiles, cabinet doors that dont close, etc. I was embarrassed to have rented this place and brought my family here. on top of the condition of the rental, the location of this unit is less than ideal. in the mornings, there is so much construction, snow scrapping, banging, and more. It was practically impossible to sleep in on the weekend. i would never stay here again until it is seriously updated and repaired.

Cozy and cute!
This condo is perfect for a get a way trip with friends or family. The inside has everything you could need including a stove, dishwasher, fridge, mini oven, and it’s well stocked and the space is utilized to the fullest. I would definitely stay here again. Very clean and great communication with property manager.

We weren’t aware that we would need to travel to a different location to get our “check in packet” before booking, and may have chosen another easier option if we hand known. Got to the lobby where our keys were supposed to be in a lockbox under our name. They weren’t. Called the office and had to go upstairs to get a key made. The guy in the office was kind and helpful, just an obnoxious process so be prepared for that. Aside from that, the space was nice and photos were accurate. Note that this is ground floor without AC so not much privacy if you want fresh air.

Fully stocked studio steps from Mountain House base area - made everything very logistically convenient to get kids’ ski gear / drop-off for lessons, etc. with ski storage lockers steps away from the slopes. We would definitely stay again!

We loved this property and had an amazing time. It was a tight space for 4 of us but exactly what we needed and expected. There’s a great view from this unit. The hot tubs were right outside our room. The lifts are close (walkable for 8 yo and 11yo) and the locker was very convenient. We will stay here again for sure. I would have liked a slightly deeper coffee table to do a puzzle while also utilizing the kitchen table to eat but the small studio space was maximized to include everything you need while skiing. It was nice to walk for 4-5 min over a scenic small bridge to get coffee from keystoner mountain coffee. It opens earlier than the coffee shop in the mountain house base. The coffee pot in the room also worked great.

Smoke detector started beeping at 1am - could not be resolved. Bad experience and poor communication
The smoke detector kept us up after 1am. Had to argue with emergency contact person to dispatch maintenance. They suggested my wife stand on a chair to disable the device. Not a great idea. Plus, it was a very old hard-wired device that would not open, even for maintenance. And because it was installed 6” from a sprinkler head, they did not want to force it. That smoke detector probably should have been replaced years ago. We were later offered full credit for another stay at that same property. Not even sure how to get credit. They never sent us a written apology and instructions on how to get credit. Very disappointed. Not likely to even use credit if they follow through.

Great stay and close to everything. Nice setup with kitchenette.
This was a great place to stay. Nice and relaxing during summer time. Only complaint was the bathtub had a hard time draining other than that it was a great room. There was some construction during our stay that made finding the garage space a little difficult but not impossible to navigate. Definitely will be a place to revisit.

I did not like that this property did not have air conditioning. It was nearly 90 degrees when I arrived at the unit. I called the Property Management Company and was told there were fans. However it took almost two hours to bring the temperature down to an acceptable level.

Everything That I Expected
This property is really well located for getting on and off of the mountain and bus routes. This particular unit in this building is on the main level by the entry and exit of the building, so it's about as convenient as it could possibly be. The owner was happy to accommodate my late check-in, and otherwise I didn't need to reach out to them because everything was good to go. I would happily stay in this unit the next time I come to Keystone.

Cozy rental
Slope side is a cozy rental near the the backside of the mountain it is amazing skiing. It is small and clean unit which is cozy to spend the night . The front door really needs to be slammed to close properly. The property manager is very helpful . I enjoyed my stay at Keystone and hope to return next year
