This recently renovated and conveniently located, 1288 sq. ft ground-level unit is steps away from the pool, the private sand beach, and an ocean-front salt-water pool. It boasts a spacious living room and dining area with high speed internet. The fully equipped kitchen has all new appliances and even has a wine refrigerator! Included for your convenience is a stacked washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and private bath with double sinks, plenty of storage and a large, walk-in shower. The second bedroom has twin beds and just across the hall is the second bathroom which also has a spacious, walk-in shower. Dine or relax on the private lanai and enjoy a partial ocean view. The grounds are beautifully maintained with lush tropical gardens. Mere steps away from the lanai, you will find for your use a cabana and gas grills with an ocean-front eating area. Free, secure parking is located close to the unit. Casa de Emdeko is a private gated community located on Ali’i Drive, one mile south of Kailua-Kona village, where you can find many shops and restaurants. Beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler available for our guests use.

A little rain, more heavy surf, but mostly sun and very swimmable bays made this a total Hawaii experience.The trades were sweet, the body surfing at times savory,and local lemons and limes were tangy additives to drink and mealtimes. Perfect family condo
This condo was wonderful. It was nice having 2 bedrooms so the kids had their own room. Kitchen was well stocked for any cooking we wanted to do. Having pools and an ocean view on the property was wonderful. My kids rate this condo as one of the best ones I have found in a long time! Mom win!! Thank you for such a wonderful stay. The location was perfect for going all over the island. Wish we would have stayed here the entire trip instead of getting hotels in Hilo. Would have been a long drive but we could have done it.

A lovely two bedroom condo on the ocean.
The condo’s amenities were perfect for us. A completely stocked kitchen, grills in the common area, two pools, sunsets to photograph and great proximity to town and beaches. The condo itself was comfortable and stylish. Having the cooler available for our daily expeditions was also very convenient. We loved it!

Great Location!
I booked this property for my 90-year old brother-in-law and his travel partner. They had never stayed in a vrbo before and I elected to book this rather than his request for a 4-star hotel. They both loved the vrbo. She said it was a perfect location for her to walk to town and they both could easily have access to the beach and the pool. They enjoyed sitting out on their own patio in the evening for cocktails and having a "home" environment for their week in Hawaii.

Great stay for Kona Ironman
This condo is wonderful. It came exactly as described. It was clean, easy to access, and well appointed. We especially enjoyed drinking coffee on the lanai in the early morning and swimming in the salt water pool. The sunsets were a daily event. It was a 1 1/2 to 2 mile walk to the heart of downtown where we watched our daughter start her swim in the Kona Ironman competition. Possible issues included a noisy air-conditioner fan which never cycled off, a missing remote battery, and lack of sponges. If you are looking for beach towels, check the dryer. Overall we had a terrific stay.

The condo was very well stocked with everything you would need . Very clean property, and close to downtown. Very comfortable .Make sure you get the gate code before getting to the unit. It can make accessing the condo a bit of a challenge . We would certainly stay here again, if we came back to Kona .

Clean and newly remodeled.
Arrived and battery on keyless door lock was dead. Called the person of contact and had helped change the battery the next morning. Not a big deal. Condo was pleasantly remodeled with pretty much new everything. Had all the cooking utensils and even spices you'd want. Beach chairs and umbrella were also available. On our last day we tried to contact the property manager and other contact (owner?) to see if we could get a late check out, but neither were accepting our calls...oh well. Still had a great stay.

We honestly really loved the location. Our previous condos have been closer to downtown Kona and this is a bit farther out which was nice. Had its own ocean access with built in beach and two different pools. So convenient. The condo itself was nice and updated and had all the amenities we needed.

4 of us first time in Kona for 2of us. Will have to come back to many things to see. Some observations. Additional bath mats for master bath. One roll of paper towels not enough for 10days. Michael was an excellent host. The Casa was a perfect base for our vacation to Kona. Centrally located, covenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Michael was attentive to our needs, and one small issue was resolved immediately. I would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone, and would stay again! Plenty of privacy, pleasant staff, and so many good vibes just abounded. Many mahalos Michael, for your patience and understanding, and even extending our stay when we couldnt leave.

Wonderful property and good communication with our host, Michael. Property is very well maintained, clean, beautiful, amazing sunset ritual every night. Our only ‘complaint’ wouod be that the gated security was a big draw for us but we found the efficiency of the gate itself (how long it would stay open after a car would pass through, essentially allowing many people or cars to pass through on that one cars’ access) to be lacking. That would be our only real negative comment. Our condo was wonderful. Beautiful updated, spacious, clean, amazing updated showers in bathrooms. We look forward to coming back!

Amazing home base for our Dream Vacation!
The condo had everything we needed for our vacation. From things we needed around the house, to towels for the pool, cushions for the lanai chairs, snorkel gear, beach chairs and umbrellas. Fully equipped and allowed us to truly enjoy our dream vacation in Hawaii. Michael is a wonderful host, and was always super responsive to any of our questions! Will definitely stay here again, and looking forward to returning for a visit in the future!
