The property was undergoing a renovation of their lobby and the fourth floor. I was not made aware of this when I booked the trip three months ago. I only found out by email the day before I left for my trip. It was a mess! The lobby was almost nonexistent. There were workers everywhere, and they still put out their complimentary breakfast in the lobby with all the construction going on. One elevator was out of order for the entire six days I was there. Once you stepped off the elevator on my floor, you say worn, filthy carpet, dirty walls, and the baseboards had been removed from the walls. My room was clean, but the bedding was old and not comfortable. I asked for a discount on my stay, or to be moved to another hotel, but the manager on duty told me they couldn’t do anything because I booked my trip through a third party, Expedia. I was very disappointed with this hotel. I would not recommend staying there until the renovation is over.
