Modern fully equipped bungalow in south-east part of island

Lillistone was designed based on the Bajan Chattel House. It is located in the south-east part of the island approximately 10 minutes drive (7km) from the airport in a quiet residential area in Inch Marlow, Christ Church. Several beaches are within close proximity (including Long Beach, Surfers Point and Silver Sands).

The house is wired for both North American (i.e. 120 volts) and European (i.e. 240 volts) electrical appliances.

Wireless broadband is included at no extra charge.

Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and contains a double bed, built-in wardrobes and drawer cabinets. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and access to the patio.

There is a 3-piece suite, cable tv, Amazon Firestick, DVD player and music system in the lounge. The dining area has a fixed granite table and seats 6.

The property has a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room

The covered patio area is accessed from the kitchen or the master bedroom and patio furniture is provided.

Please note that for hygiene reasons, we do NOT provide towels.

Hot Spot
Traveling from the cooler climate of the United States to the hot temperatures of Barbados was quite a shock. The house did not have air conditioning, although there were units in each of the three bedrooms. When I asked about them, I was told that they weren't included in my package. I offered to pay the difference, but was informed that the units were not functional. Sleeping in the heat was uncomfortable, and as a woman over 50 going through menopause, it was especially challenging. My feet remained swollen throughout the entire trip. Additionally, my 5-year-old granddaughter was also complaining about the heat. I wish I had been informed about this situation before booking, as I would have chosen a different place to stay. Another issue was that the property manager never found time in his busy schedule to meet with me or conduct a walk-through. I feel deeply disappointed by the lack of attention and care, especially when visiting my home country. It felt as though my concerns didn't matter at all.

Great 3 weeks!
I stayed at Lillistone for 3 weeks in Jan-Feb, 2024. Single woman. The house is very clean and spacious. It is in a quiet, safe neighborhood away from the touristy areas. There is always a cool breeze in the back yard. Ten-minute walk to Surfer's Point and a 20-minute walk to Silver Sands Beach and Silver Rock Beach. I recommend renting a car if you want to explore the island or go places at night. I was fine for 3 weeks without a car, but I am a single person who enjoys walking and I loved riding the buses. Rodney (owner) and Anderson (property manager) are both awesome!

Find Your Way Home
Rodney's is an excellent location for someone seeking Home Comfort(s) and feeling like you've just awakened one morning where you've been all along - just with fresh ocean-driven breezes and at the moment picture-perfect Caribbean Weather. The location and layout are all about Relaxation - quiet neighborhood, room to move or laze indoors or out and the convenience of everything you need just close enough, but not in the way. Some minor things to see to, but the Property Managers are accessible, attentive and amiable. Don't panic about A/C - the security bars and screens allow you to open up the house by day and the fans installed and supplied adequately cool as needed. All's left is to prepare to enjoy it.

Just perfect
We stayed in Lilistone for 3 weeks over Christmas and New Years. We were a group of 6 with a 11 & 3 year old and the location was amazing. Located in a quiet neibourhood Lilistone is just a stones throw away from Oistens and the beautiful Miami Beach. Even if you don’t rent a car the crazy but vibey number 11 bus will take you where you need to be, pickup from the top of the road (just be prepared for loud music and fast driving). The property is well kept and was a home away from home. The property manager Anderson helped us with any troubles we had quickly and efficiently and we were always in contact. Only thing to be prepared for is millipedes and centipedes as you will find them around (oh we even spotted a monkey in the garden one morning). Definitely recommend Lilistone!

Lovely villa
My family and I stayed in Lillistone a number of years ago when we visited Barbados for a family wedding. The villa was as lovely then as it is now. The location of the villa is in a nice quiet neighbourhood, away from main tourist spots, but close enough to get to local shops on foot or by car. Anderson, the agent, was extremely helpful and readily provided answers to our queries. We enjoyed our stay at Lillistone and would definitely return. Would be even better if: there were a few loungers for the outdoor area.

Nice neighborhood, spacious house
The host picked us up and charged us USD50 for a 3 mile ride but that was useful to get some local information, driving tips, gave us a free ride to the supermarket to pick up some immediate needs. Most important thing is that, the posting did not say that we need stock on our supplies and I am not sure how can that be expected when we are arriving as tourists. There was no bath tissue, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, match sticks to light the stove, hand soap, or kitchen towels. I had to express my displeasure and the host was nice enough to drop them off. The post was advertised without AC but it was very hard to accustom to the change in temperature (coming from Michigan mid-March). Each bedroom had an AC but we couldn't use them but we got used to the weather in a couple of days. We had all the windows open all the time since the sea breeze was really nice. it does get hot in the afternoon (during March) so the only way to beat the heat is to take a dip in the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped by all standards and we cooked a lot since eating out for a family of four is expensive in Barbados. Wifi was great. I wish they bad better blinds. Since sunrise was around 5.55am, there was bright light from 5.30 onwards and there is no way to sleep in longer since we had to keep the blinds open to keep the house cool.Check out was no issue. Overall it was a great stay. I would encourage to provide necessary supplies or let the guests know so that they can be prepared.

Beautiful house just needs some TLC
Nice property and would be fantastic with some TLC, Anderson the property manager was very accessible . The shower heads in both bathrooms are broken and can only be hand held, the wifi password in the property book is incorrect. There is only a picnic table for sitting outside, a couple of lounge chairs would have been really nice and made our stay a whole lot more comfortable. I emailed the owner about why there was no towels provided and his answer was for hygiene purposes , I told him it is just the same to wash the bed sheets as it was the towels,his response was I am the first one to say that . We had to go out the first day and buy a bag of bug repellent to keep the house free from bugs etc, the place had a lot of bugs in and around it however the stuff we bought did the trick, also only 2 dish towels and one dish cloth, nothing else provided , no cleaning supplies at all but there was 2 rolls of toilet tissue, first thing we had to do was go shopping and supply it as if we were home. Really disappointed in this place and it was extremely not ready for someone to start a vacation.Beautiful house beautiful garden really disappointed the owners didn't take more PRIDE in having it prepared for guess and a wooden picnic table REALLY REALLY.A little TLC and I would rate this place 5 stars

Excellent Home Away from home
Comfortable, well-equipped and well maintained, we enjoyed the property from day of arrival to departure. Seven minutes walk to the sea and an ideal spot for exercise and enjoyment. Neighborhood is friendly, quiet and easily accessible by bus or car. The home owner and property manager both demonstrate an outstanding customer satisfaction ethic and communicate well and often. We cut our planned 8 -week stay to five because of Covid-19, but we thoroughly enjoyed every day of the five weeks we spent in this corner of paradise.

Beautiful Bungalow
My husband and I spent 3 very pleasant weeks at Lilistone from February 28 to March 21, 2018. The house was very clean, well maintained and welcoming. Lilistone is well furnished and equipped with all you need to have a comfortable stay. Lilistone is ideally located in a quiet and safe residential neighbourhood, yet close to beaches, supermarkets and other amenities. The entire process of booking and arriving at Lilistone was efficient. Rodney was very easy to work with and very prompt in responding. It was a pleasure dealing with Anderson and his lovely wife Karen. Anderson was always accessible and quick to respond to any questions. Anderson and Karen took the time to take us grocery shopping on our first night and also to point out the local beach etc. Thank you Karen and Anderson for your hospitality and for going over and beyond your mandate. We are happy to recommend Lilistone to anyone wanting a great home to stay in, with excellent value for money.

LongBeach perfect solution !!
The house is perfect, super tranquil location, 10 minutes walk from the fantastic beaches LongBeach where you can enjoy without anyone around. If you carry a wave board and kite, then this is the maximum that you can imagine the holidays. Local bus station is 2 minutes away and for EUR1 leads all the way to Bridgetown, but the winning is certainly a fish market in Ostin. Uros (Slovenia, EU)

Enjoyable Stay at Lillistone
My wife and I spent 11 days here at Lillistone. The house was well equipped, spacious, clean, secure and in a wonderful neighborhood. We were within walking distance of a well stocked convenience store and a great beach with kite surfers. The thing that really made the difference for us was the property manager Anderson and his wife. They met us at the airport even though our flight was delayed by two hours. They then took us to the grocery store so we could could get supplied. Anderson quickly responded to any issues we had and really made us feel welcome. Thanks so much. Additionally, the neighbors are friendly and helpful. We did not have a car and got along fine. Anderson recommended a taxi operator and there are buses and ZR vans within easy walking distance. We really loved Barbados and it's people.

Clean comfortable bungalow
Situated in a residential area, the bungalow was clean and well maintained all though could have done with a few more sun loungers/outdoor chairs. The agent was there to meet us and gave us all relevant information concerning the bungalow. We would recommend this property and would not hesitate to book again . Oistens is easily reached as the small bus stops at the top of the road though a hire car makes everything even easier. Martins Bay is wonderful for a lovely bajan meal
