For your holiday discovering the island of Yeu, we offer you an atypical and charming house. Who could guess, seeing its pretty terrace and its small, flowery garden, that it was once the island's gendarmerie? Renovated with taste, it has been arranged to accommodate 6 people. Here, you won't find a king-size master suite or a large Italian-style shower. It's quirky, sometimes narrow, there are beams, creaking old floorboards, and the blue staircase leading to this funny little hidden bathroom at the top. From a gendarmerie, it has become a hut, a pirate ship, or a secret hideaway, and that is the real charm of this 65m2 house.
You first discover its 40m2 garden and terrace, sheltered from prying eyes and the wind, where you will enjoy taking your meals outdoors and making the most of a good barbecue. Here, you disconnect! There is no wi-fi or television. You can enjoy spending time with family or friends.
On the ground floor, the living area has a lounge area for you to relax, a dining room for your meals, and a fully equipped kitchen. You will find a ceramic hob, an oven, a microwave, as well as a fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. For your breakfasts, you will find a kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster. You will also find a small bathroom with a shower, a washbasin and a toilet on this level.
Upstairs, the sleeping area has 3 small bedrooms. In the first one, there is a Queen Size bed (160/200). In the second one, you will find two single beds (90/190). And in the third one, two bunk beds in a sailor's cabin decor will delight the children. A few more steps up, the second bathroom completes the house.
The house does not have parking, but if you come with your bikes, you will find a shelter to store them in the garden. A washer-dryer is also available.
