We are located 5 miles from Downtown Meredith, NH and a mile from Squam Lake. Whether it's renting a boat or jet ski for the day/week to explore the lakes or hiking in the White Mountains, this home is the perfect getaway for families!

Important: Before you arrive you may be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Superhog. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Superhog will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process. You will also be given the choice between a security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
The location and neighbourhood is fantastic, there is a reason we call this place Central Escape! The Cape was Ashley's childhood home, it holds so many great memories. You can be on Squam Lake in a few minutes or up in the Mountains in a few more!
Guests are welcome to use the backyard, patio, and deck on the back of the house. The owners of the property do live across the street. They operate their home business on the same property and the only thing that is shared is the parking space during the weekdays. We ask that Airbnb guests park on the upper section of the driveway.
This home is fully equipped and manicured to accommodate a large family or group of guests. There is a large backyard with a hot tub on the deck. The fireplace on the deck adds a nice ambiance for those summer nights and BBQs. The layout of the home provides ample space for people to cook, relax, and entertain guests.
Plenty of parking in the driveway, but we have some restrictions to keep the owner's business entrance next door clear. Information will be provided in the guidebook and check-in instructions.
We do allow pets but ask that they be leashed when outside as the road is very busy with traffic. We also ask that the animal be walked to the woods to do its business. We take great pride in our landscaping and would like it to remain pristine for everyone.
We love to host Bach groups, dinners and reunions etc. We can even do weddings! We have an in-house event manager who can assist you with planning and catering. When we host an event we do ask for some additional verification and a security deposit from our partners, Superhog.
