I stayed ten days for a business trip in this hotel.
It was clean, the service was good, the room was large. The breakfast could be a bit more varied but was ok.
My main point of criticism is about the service in the lobby. Because I was at the office during the day and the post office was already closed I asked the person at the desk in the lobby if I could get a post stamp for a postcard. She said she never sent one but would think that it just goes by the mail without any cost. I said I doubt that and that I want to send it to germany.
She then assumed that it will not cost more than a standard letter in the US. I still was not convinced and said I will check that first... The internet said that I will need a post stamp for 1.15$ so I returned to her and said that I need a stamp with at least 1.15$.
She was thinking and selling me two post stamps for together 1.50$.
Luckily I still had doubts and checked the stamps the other day. The internet said that a standard US stamp (Forever-stamp) has a value of 0.49$... I managed somehow to reach a post office shortly before it closed and there I got the info: Of course I still need 0.17$. So I paid the remaining 17cent and the man at the office taped a large printed post stamp half across back and front(!) of the post card (next to the two stamps and the address of the receiver was simply not enough room to get it placed completely on the back). It's sad the hotel staff was not able to get me the correct 1.15$ stamp I asked for.
