Phenomenal House
Celebrating our 23rd anniversary! We come to the coast every year. By far, the best house we have ever stayed at. Perfect location, beautiful views, clean, private, wonderful amenities, well-stocked! Derek goes above and beyond in communication and his attention to little details is something we’ve never seen. Stocked wood for the firepit, assortment of toiletries in case you forget, and no clean-up duties. We were so impressed. Wonderfully comfy bed! Cannot say enough about this house. We will be back!

Best spot on the beach.
Location and home was incredible. Everything in the home and on the patio was perfect. I almost wanted to leave a bad review to discourage other people from booking it, so then it would be available for us to go back and stay more frequently... lol. But, Derek was too helpful and accommodating as a host. This is truly a perfect beach house. We'll be back soon

Pleasant Time on the Beach
Overall the house was perfect for a couple looking to get away for the weekend. The house was clean and the view was amazing from the living room and deck. It was a bit noisy when it rained due to the down spout of the gutter being ran against the bedroom wall. Our only issue for the weekend was that unfortunately the Hot Tub was not working and did not heat up even after they sent a repairman out. If we had been dead set on sitting in the hot tub and watching the ocean this would have been upsetting but we were content to do other things. Still this property was advertised as having a hot tub and nothing was sent to us prior to out visit stating that it was not usable. Other than that we would rent this place again.

Perfect for quiet anniversary!
It was amazing! The house was beautiful and clean. The bed was super comfy and the bathrooms clean and spacious! But the best part are the views and sounds of the ocean right out the door! The two rocking chairs on the porch were used a lot! Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our getaway here!! Would definitely come back!

This location was perfect for my family 2 kids 8 & 10 and my husband and I. Walk down to beach kids could go down and we could watch them from the deck. Clean and updated!! One negative is the cleaning person left towels and bedding washed in washer. Had to rewash and dry for more towels. Overall love it and will go back.

Great location
Really a fabulous little place. The location is great and just steps from the beach. We stay on the coast each yr and sometimes need a larger space but this was perfect for 3 of us. Close to many fun restaurants in Depot Bay and Lincoln City. The house was clean and very comfortable. The deck and hot tub are perfect spot to relax. Great communication from property owner. When we need a small space we will definitely look to stay here again.

The property was perfect in every way. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! My kids and I were on a road trip through Oregon, and staying here was truly one of the highlights of our trip. None of us wanted to leave!

Very nice location, beautiful views of the beach, easy access to the beach and town. The electrical outlets did not work in the master, but that's ok we were able to use the other outlets and the owner will fix this for future guests.

Loved the house! Kitchen had everything and more of what was needed. The bathroom was excellent! Hot tub was awesome. Beach Access was very close. Only complaint was the blackberry vines growing through the patio and stairs to the beach. Got scratched a few times. Would definitely visit this house again!

Outstanding View!
We spent 5 nights in this beautiful home. The view is amazing. The place is spotless and has many extras. The kitchen is fully stocked, including things like an air fryer and indoor grill. The bed is very comfortable. The space is perfect for a couple to come and unwind. You can spend the day indoors relaxing with a view, sit in the hot tub with a view, or walk down the stairs and be right on the beach. Derek is highly response to communication with you, for any simple questions that you might have. We will be back! Thank you, Derek!!

Beautiful property but electric issues need attention
Love the house - spotless and up to date. Can’t beat the beautiful location - you’re right on the beach. We are a family of 4 and had plenty of room - the teens shared the pull out couch and said it was very comfy. The owner was very responsive. However, less than 24 hours after arrival, we noticed some kitchen outlets not working, then lights dimming/flickering/turning off. The owner was made aware and had someone come out to troubleshoot immediately. Shortly after, kitchen lights popped from ceiling in bursts of smoke. We had to call 911, vacate immediately and find last minute accommodations elsewhere. I see a prior review that brings electric issues up. I really hope the owner gets these resolved before continuing to rent and put people in danger. It was a terrifying experience for my family and not how anyone should spend a vacation.

Fantastic location with incredible views!
Highly recommend! Fantastic location with incredible views! The kitchen was well accommodated, the bed and pillows were comfortable and made for a good night's sleep and the shower was inviting. We'll be back again next year!

PROS:First off, the location is unbeatable. It is right on the beach. Views from both in and outside the house are magnificent. The house has been renovated and is really eye catching with all the tile work throughout. Nice king size bed, nice showers, big fluffy towels, kitchen is well stocked, great deck. CONS: Upon opening the dishwasher, we were hit by a rotten, sour food smell. It was full of dirty dishes, pans, etc. covered in scrambled egg. There was also food left in the fridge. When I emailed the owner, he said he let a friend stay there who assured him that he would leave it clean. Now I’m wondering if the sheets and bathrooms were cleaned before our arrival. He said he didn’t send the housekeeper. Gross. Then there is the fact that, though beautiful, the home has several concerning issues. One outlet hanging out of the wall with no cover, one ceiling exhaust fan with no cover, outlets in master bath didn’t work at all and none of the multiple outlets in the kitchen, bath and laundry were gfci (except one in small bath and one in the kitchen), the switch for the garage disposal didn’t work either. This is a safety concern and makes me wonder if this home was inspected after the remodel, because it never would have passed. I emailed these concerns to the owner after we got home so he was aware and never heard from him again. Also, the fees were nearly double the nightly room rate. It was a nice trip, but I think we won’t rent this home again.

Perfect little getaway
Excellent location and ideal for a small getaway. Had a blast staying here, the view with a cup of coffee in the morning is hard to beat. Jacuzzi and tea in the evening was our go to. Beach Access is super easy and a major plus to this place. Apartment was clean and had all the essentials. Derek was super responsive and helpful. We will be back!
