Sehr schön eingerichtete und gut gelegene Wohnung
In Florenz in einem historischen Gebäude direkt an der Piazza della Signoria zu wohnen, dass ist schon ein Erlebnis für sich. Leider ist der nächtliche Lärmpegel nicht unerheblich, aber das ist auch schon der einzige Nachteil, der durch die Vorteile mehr als aufgewogen wird. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und zweckmäßig ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Der verwinkelte Weg von der prächigen Eingangshalle über mehrere Treppenhäuser zur Wohnung ist für Architekturliebhaber allein schon ein Erlebnis, es gibt für Faule aber auch einen Aufzug. Die Wohnung hat Heizung, was in Italien, nicht selbstverständlich ist, auch nicht im Luxusbereich. Sehr gut ist natürlich die Lage im absoluten Zentrum der Stadt, man erreicht alles zu Fuß. Die Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, allerdings nur auf Englisch oder Italienisch. Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten.

Lovely accommodations
Loved our stay at the Time Machine. My questions prior to booking were answered quickly. Booking process was straightforward. Check in was a minor challenge but again, assistance was available immediately. The area is perfect and central to many attractions. This made our time in Florence very enjoyable.

We enjoyed the apartment and location. All four of us had challenges with mosquitoes. We did not open the windows because there were no screens. I would charge more and install screens. The noise at night from the square was disturbing- more than we anticipated. Otherwise it was positive

Perfect Location… and true time machine!
We were in Florence in October and had perfect weather, so really were out and about the entire time. This property is historic and we found it special to stay in a place that is so authentic. The location is incredible and just footsteps from historic spots in the city center.

What a great location
Perfect apartment for two couples exploring Florence for the first time. Good sized bedrooms and a decent sitting room and kitchenette. And in the most perfect location ever! Just one recommendation: please add a colour key for the recycling bins. We had no idea what was meant to go in which bin.

Delightful and magic
Our stay in Florence was one of the best travel experiences I have had. The flat is in an authentic, well-maintained palazzo whose massive wooden door opens directly on the Piazza Della Signoria. Despite being located on a popular tourist piazza, the flat was quiet. The bedroom windows looked out into a lively side street, but still - the rooms were quiet at night. We had two generous bedrooms, as my husband snores and is a restless sleeper. Everything worth seeing - including shopping, dining and museums and sites - was within an easy 5 to 10 minute walk from the dwelling. We were a12 minute walk from the train station and the Fortezza da Basso, where we were attending a medical conference. Grocery stores were within 5 minutes walk. The flat has all the modern conveniences and everything is in good working order. There are 2 TV screens for viewing on a quiet evening. The flat decor was the most charming - rustic -style with floor tiles, dark wood furniture, large wooden ceiling beams and dark -iron beds with crisp white linens. The kitchen was well-equipped. The hosts were quick to respond to any and all questions. I highly recommend this lovely accommodation.

Perfect
The apartment was exactly as advertised. Air conditioning worked very well, which was much appreciated given the mid 90’s temperatures. We arrived early and we were allowed in. The apartment was rustic and very comfortable. The location was PERFECT! It was within easy walking distance to virtually everywhere we wanted to go, including the train station. Thank you to Pietro and Gaia! If I return to Florence I will seek to stay here again before looking anywhere else. I highly recommend this place.

In the Heart of Venice
Property is right on the Palazzo Vecchio and all the major tourist attractions are very easy to access from the apartment. A lot of old world character the apartment. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well and was a much needed break from the Florence heat in July. Directions for check-in were easy to follow and required no personal interaction. It would have been nice to get a slightly earlier check-in, but the door access app appears to be hard coded to only work after check-in time.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing and allows for easy access to all the major sites. We felt safe and secure, and even though it was in the middle of a busy area it was quiet at night. The unit is well equipped with lots of space. We had a great stay at the Time Machine, where you enter through palace doors! The place was really cool. The furnishings are a bit older and worn, but how much time are you spending in the place when Piazza della Signoria is right outside your door? Better to hang out at one of the restaurants or bars on the square and look out onto the Fountain of Neptune, David replica, or the Palazzo Vecchio! Such a cool place! Definitely recommend!

Great location with long history
We loved this location of this property. We especially enjoyed the history. The interior of the unit was just a bit dark. It could use a couple of extra end table lamps but that really did not detract from our visit. It was a great unit.

Absolute premium location and beautiful apartment but NO A/C!!!
This place could not be in a better spot. We loved everything about it except the lack of air conditioning. It was highs of 80 degrees or so when we were there and the nights were still uncomfortable for sleep. If it were any warmer, we'd have had to go to a hotel. All 3 A/C units in the place were unable to put out any cold air AT ALL. Very disappointing when you pay a price like this and the listing includes A/C as an amenity. Otherwise, the place was great.

Misleading
While the property is in a great location, more than half of the amenities and utilities were not working. One of the toilets was out of order and the air conditioning did not work at all. With sweltering temperatures, it is unacceptable to not provide air conditioning. In addition, the wifi was not working leaving us unable to contact the host about the issues. Would not recommend staying here.

The location is perfect. Wish the place is cleaner and brighter. All those molds in the kitchen wall and the bathroom should be cleaned, wish to have some lights inside and repaired chair(worn out and holes) would be nice. Somewhat disappointed.
