On placing my reservation, it transpired that the address is for Calis Beach. No accomodation by this name. Tried to call the numbers provided multiple times to no avail. Spoke to Expedia Customer care for 4 hours with no help. Added the number on whatsapp and got a reply finally. The place was named Lale Apart Fethiye which is 1.7km from Calis Beach. The exterior is magnificent and the pool is superb.
Initially I was refused payment by card and the host insisted on cash. As I was prepared to leave, I was allowed to pay by card. For those wanting to book - please beware towels, toiletries such as soap, shampoo, toilet roll etc are not provided. And the host was arrogantly condescending - seems they would prefer hosting local turkish people than foreigners.
The 3 bedroom duplex apartment was on the 2nd floor. As you enter, it had a lounge with open plan kithen. The kitchen had a gas stove. There was an empty gas lighter and the hostess refused to refill or provide a new one. No oven/grill is available. There is a large fridge and a washing machine. A very nice balcony looking out onto the pool. On the same floor there was a bathroom that had a stand-in shower/toilet/basin, a room with 2 single beds and a room with a double bed. Aircons in all areas. The stairs then led to an attic room which had 3 single beds and bathroom (this smelled damp and unusable). There was a balcony and aircon.
I liked the exterior but most def wont return due to attitute and lack of hospitality.
