Gorgeous Lake Morey Cabin
Our family stayed at Camp Tellmar during Thanksgiving week so we could be near other family in Fairlee. The house was exactly as listed and more. The house is right on the lake and provided us gorgeous views, especially during our first snow of the season. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well-stocked. The perfect place for a family!

Such a gem
We were staying here for a Tuck/Dartmouth reunion. It was a mix of adults and 4 kids (ages 5-8). We LOVED this spot. It's super easy to get to, right off the highway but felt really secluded and special. Each morning the lake was foggy and it would slowly lift to reveal the hills around the lake in gorgeous fall colors. The cabin itself is so cozy. There is a gas fireplace (super easy to use) and a firepit outside with plenty of chairs. I prefer to stay in VRBOs that are actually used by families (not sparse and cold) and this clearly is loved and used by the owners family. The kitchen had tons of pots and pans, spices, sugar, any basics you would need. Light switches are well labeled and their guest binder had all the info we needed. Wifi was fast. When we needed to communicate with the owner it was easy and prompt via the VRBO app or text. Overall we had such a great time. The cabin was wonderful and we felt really lucky to stay there during such a gorgeous time of year (mid-Oct). Thank you!

We stayed for three nights. It was fantastic and we will definitely stay again. We were attending our nephews wedding at Lake Morey Resort. The lodge is close enough to walk to resort. Close to resort golf course where we played 18. Lucky enough to have beautiful weather last weekend in September. We drank our late morning coffee in the chairs on the dock. Our nephews used the kayaks on the lake. Bedrooms were great size. There were 5 adults and two teenagers. The two bathrooms were perfect. This is a great lakefront property to spend a vacation

Winter Birthday Getaway
Our trip to celebrate my Dad, daughter, and sons January Birthdays was great! The house was exactly as pictured and so neat with the antique decor. Mike was very nice, communicative, and the process of renting the home was easy. We rented the house to go ice skating on morey lake which unfortunately was not possible due to the weather. We had it all in terms of weather, rain, a blizzard, a rainbow, and sunshine. We even had a 10 hour power outage which I’ve heard is very unusual. One recommendation would be to add hurricane lamps, flashlights, and consider a generator in case of future issues. Thankfully my father, a retired marine of 27 years came equipped with a lot in his truck. Despite the power outage we had a fantastic time. We went to the science museum during this time which the kids loved. The house is special and on the second day of our trip it snowed and we couldn’t have asked for more roasting marshmallows on the fire pit outside with the spectacular view of the lake and mountains and getting warmed up by the fireplace inside. We will definitely be renting again in the future!

Mike’s place is absolutely perfect for a family getaway. The pictures don’t really do justice to how pretty and well kept this property is. Beautiful setting and cozy home!
The lake house was just as it should be. Loved the coziness of the home, and loved that it had separate rooms yet everyone felt very included no matter where you were in the house. The kitchen was well-stocked. The bathrooms were clean and the dated design added to the "lakehouse" vibe. We had hoped to ice skate on the lake but enjoyed kayaking instead. It was a very unseasonably warm December. My kids said they loved the area as it felt like a fairy tale setting but also a ghost story at the same time because our days were filled with mist and fog over the lake and hills. There are cute towns nearby to shop or eat as well. The host was very attentive both before and during our stay. We had all the information we needed, check-in was very simple, and he responded rapidly to any questions. It's definitely on our short list for get-away destinations be it summer or winter.

A fabulous visit! Mike reached out ahead of our visit and made the check in/out very smooth. His family property is perfectly situated on Lake Morey. Cozy Cabin at Lake Morey
Peaceful stay at Lake Morey during Dartmouth graduation weekend. Great location for those traveling with family who want a getaway for quality downtime between events. Easy 15 minute drive to Hanover. Fantastic deck, BBQ, firepit and dock and access to kayaks and rowboat for outdoor fun. Comfy "lodge"-like cabin had plenty of space for our family of 5 (all adults). Mike was a fantastic, communicative host!

Birthday getaway with family
Our long weekend was January 13 - 16th. It was my wife's 65th birthday and we wanted to celebrate with the family. There was 9 adults and our 8 yr. old Granddaughter. The house was perfect for accommodating all. We played games and had great conversations sitting near the gas fireplace. The views from the living room and the Master bedroom are fabulous. We took a hike up the traiI across the lake to some beautiful waterfalls. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Mike, by the time our weekend rolled around I felt like I knew Mike well enough to invite him over for cake and ice cream. Feels Like a Great Family Lake House - Filled With Memories
We (3 couples) were attending a wedding a few doors down from this property, and decided to stay here for the location, views, comfort, and setup. It delivered all around! You can really tell that the owners put a good amount of love and care into this property. It feels like a good friend is sharing their family lake house with you. We stayed at the house for 4 nights, and couldn’t have been happier. The house is in a perfect location on the lake, with amazing views from the deck and most of the rooms, and comes equipped with kayaks, a motor boat, life vests, and other equipment to allow guests to fully enjoy the lake experience. Amazing Family weekend
We were on vacation the moment we started walking down the stairs to the house. From the second you set foot on the property it feels warm and inviting , every hydrangea seems to smile at you on the way down to the front door. Everything just gets better front there! The house is AMAZING! It is beautifully furnished with so many cool things to look at…our kids loved counting the ducks and looking at all of the interesting things perfectly placed around the rooms. Everything was extremely clean and set up when we arrived. We had 10 stay and it was totally comfortable. The deck and dock are absolutely the best part. We looked forward to waking up every morning , grabbing a coffee and sitting outside on the deck with a blanket while watching the fisherman troll by. The deck is perfect for family meals, we ate outside all the time and there is plenty of seating for everyone. They literally have everything you need. They have a small boat you can rent for a day or the entire trip, the kids loved being able to see the lake from the boat! We loved our stay so much that on our way home we had already decided to book next year! Thank you for sharing your home, it was a brilliant week on Lake Morey!

A Fabulous Family ReuniFication
Our family has been coming to lake Morey since long before I was born, but this year a record numbers of us were gathering for the first time since the Covid pandemic began, and we needed more beds than we had in the main house alone. Finding this beautiful home on the south end of the lake was a godsend. Not only did it allow us to include 10 more family members than we might otherwise be able to house in our gathering, but it did it in a way that made us all completely comfortable and content with whatever "sleeping arrangement" we were assigned. The place was spotlessly clean and really welcoming when we arrived, and it was no time at all before we were sitting on the porch and spilling our onto the pier for our afternoon "docktails" and sunbathing. We had everything we could want or need in the house -- including a beautifully appointed kitchen (which was fully stocked with fizzy waters, condiments, and even some adult beverages!) two spacious full baths, and four private and comfortable bedrooms. Admittedly, we spent most of our time outside --on the beautifully manicured lawn (kudos to whoever keeps that up!), the spacious porch, or the perfect sun-set dock-- but the inside was just as lovely. Thank you, Mike, for providing such a wonderful venue for our extended family reunion. Everything about the place was perfect!

Best house on the lake
This house has everything you need including a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of water amenities, board games, toys for kids, toiletries, plenty of beach towels, extra chairs, etc. The view is beautiful and hanging out on the dock or lawn was so peaceful. The back deck has a ton of covered seating for eating meals or just taking in the scenery. There is a separate door to the grill area from the kitchen which is very convenient! At this house you feel like you are very secluded yet the highway and major stores are just minutes away. Mike was the best host I have had when staying in a rental home. Quick to respond and super helpful. The house was also perfectly clean and bedrooms were all comfortable! Everything was thought of when designing this home, I wouldn't change a thing and I would absolutely come back.

Beautiful property
We stayed in this gorgeous properties for an extended New Years weekend so that my immune compromised stepdad could ring in 2022 with a sense of normalcy amid Omicron. It was a wonderful choice. Beautiful location and a well-appointed, comfortable house. Mike gave us pointers on a terrific sledding hill and the walk around the lake is a nice five-ish mile one. It was not great weather but it didn’t matter. We sat by the fire and enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Mike was attentive when needed and friendly and helpful via messaging. Our only regret was not seeing the place in the summer. Bet it’s gorgeous. Thanks Mike!

Woodstock was an easy drive, as well as of the surrounding towns in nearby New Hampshire. The views of the lake and mountainside were amazing, especially with the fall colors. We can't wait to come back again!

Wedding weekend 2.0
Our family stayed at Tellmar Cottage for my brothers wedding weekend. He got married at Lake Morey last October but with Covid, decided to postpone the celebration until this past weekend. This location was right around the corner from the resort, on the lake and within walking distance to the festivities! Waking up to the lake view was beyond relaxing and even our 10 month old son seemed to love everything about it! Our only regret is not being able to stay longer! We will be booking here again for other family vacations!
