Yes, you've found it. The perfect place for your next couples' retreat; and we mean perfect. Private, quiet, beautifully equipped, and spacious; all set within an idyllic countryside location that is literally minutes away from cosmopolitan Exeter. Don't be fooled by this gorgeous hut's charm though. With all the amenities and extras you'd expect from a luxury boutique hotel (and more), this is glamping at its best; and while still authentic in its design, you'll have much more of the ‘glam' than the ‘camping' to look forward to.
Like underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen with electric hob, Belfast sink and breakfast bar, a modern shower room with heated towel rail, TV with built-in DVD player, Wi-fi, wood-burning stove, and of course a super comfy double bed complete with deep mattress and storage beneath. The setting is pretty special too. Tucked away in the meadow of a South Devon farm, the surrounding landscape is lush, picturesque and tranquil – and if that weren't idyllic enough, the hut overlooks the river Kenn as it meanders its way along the bottom of the garden. If you're looking for a spot to enjoy the views and fresh air, a private patio with outdoor dining and bubbling hot tub is just the place, while the addition of a charcoal BBQ (which doubles as a firepit) means you'll be able to relax in the sunshine while keeping an eye on lunch as it sizzles away.
There are terrific walks in the area as well as the lovely 13th Century Ley Arms pub where you can wine and dine your afternoons away however, Apple Blossom is also within striking distance of the South Hams with its long sandy beaches, tree-lined rivers, and of course towns like Totnes and Dartmouth just waiting to be explored. Within a 15-minute driving radius you can access the coast at Dawlish Warren or Teignmouth or hike the rugged tors and landscape of Dartmoor national park, or for something slightly more cosmopolitan, you can pop into Exeter for a dose of retail therapy and culture, and visit the charming town of Topsham (just 20 minute drive away) to browse independent boutiques, take afternoon tea and relish walks along the River Exe.
